> 3 dayI really like this Wi-Fi smart plug. Its extremely easy to operate with a smart phone using the Geeni App. I use this to operate my wifes holiday decoration, but it could be easily used every day to turn on lights and anything capable of being plugged into a normal 110V socket. This device is made from quality plastic. It feel very robust and solid in your hand. Its definitely not a cheap knock off. It comes with instructions that walk you through downloading the app and setting up the smart plug. Its very easy. The app makes this plug very capable as you can set up a schedule in it to turn the plug on and off at specific times of the day through out the week and month. I really enjoy this function. This makes turning on lights when the sun goes down a breeze. It also is very helpful if you are away and want to have lights come on for securing at night. I would definitely recommend this smart plug to friends and family. Its a value at current price and once you get one you will want everything on them as you will have total control of your home at your finger tips no matter where you are in the world.

> 3 dayI havent added Alexa yet, but expect no problem. It reads out the consumption on a daily basis, so for example, my fairly large, mini-fridge typically uses .74kw. Nice. One thing that would be nice is ability to access that data when the device is not plugged in.

> 3 dayGreat for Christmas tree! Lights come on when I’m arriving home from work and go off at bedtime. Works with Google. My 12-year old enjoys turning them off and on from the phone too.

> 3 dayAs of April 2, 2022, these are unusable... Basically trash unless you use Apple HomeKit. When they did work with Google Home, I had to constantly reconnect them to wifi. Now you cannot use them at all… “Any integration with third party services such as Google Assistant, SmartThings, Amazon Alexa, Wink or IFTTT will no longer work. Please transition to using HomeKit wherever possible.” I highly recommend Kasa Smart Plugs instead. I’ve never had an issue with them.

> 3 dayThis comes as a two pack of smart outlet plugs. I got these because my indoor Christmas lights timer stopped working. It was easy to connect this to my smartlife app. This allowed me to set my lights to a timer to turn on and off at Certain times each day, even setting different times each day; I would set these to turn on earlier on Friday Saturday and Sunday, and turn off earlier on school nights so as to help my young children with bed time. I didnt really use the energy monitoring but did see that as an option on this. The plug takes up just one plug of my outlet leaving room to use the other outlet plug for something else.

> 3 dayI purchased these plugs so I could control lights and a heat for my little green house this winter remotely while I am away on trips. Works great. Plants are happy.

Greater than one weekI have an older iHome switch. I thought that this would be the same brand. It is not. Dont buy if you have apple homekit. WeMo is the better smartplug.
