> 3 dayThis product will not work unless you are nearby the plugs. But if you are away from home which is whats important. No dice. Useless!

Greater than one weekI already had several smart plugs that use the Smart Home app and these worked great with that app, even though it says they use a different app. It was extremely easy to add them to the app too.

> 3 dayI have an older iHome switch. I thought that this would be the same brand. It is not. Dont buy if you have apple homekit. WeMo is the better smartplug.

> 3 dayI had the older model for years that still work with the app but not with Alexa. These new ones work seamlessly with Alexa and are easy to set up.

> 3 dayOne week after retrieving my first 2-pack, one stopped working (would no longer connect to network and couldnt reinstall). Received a replacement. Three months later the same exact behavior. Not reliable at all.

> 3 dayIt was a little difficult at first getting it to connect. It literally took me several tries (at least 10) and I was a little frustrated. Then I moved it to another socket and the same distance from the router and it connected in minutes. There is an app that must be downloaded and the QR code in on the instruction leaflet. Once connected, it was easy peasy to use. I was able to turn my den lights off and on using my phone. It is a pack of 2 so I used the other plug at my moms house so she does not have to walk into a dark house when she returns home at times. She can turn in the lights from the car. I like the plug so much that I will buying another set for me gadgets around the house. It’s so convenient and I find it to be a safety “must have”.

> 3 dayPro:- 1. Simple to configure and connect. Cons:- 1. Item disconnects randomly from Wifi. 2. Monitoring is a joke, as it just quotes same bandwidth for a PC or TV or hair dryer. 3. Cloud is horrible. Mostly Google cloud cannot detect it and have to use the genie app to control.(Plugging it off and on fixes the issue for a day or 2) 4. Went googling to fix the above issues and noted iHome is notorious for discarding the cloud making this socket a paper weight. You cannot control it with app or google if iHome cloud is shutdown. They had did this for pervious gen. They might do this for this gen so people can buy more of their stuff instead of using the working one. Item returned as it was not working properly

> 3 dayBought a bunch of these. Worked great first few weeks, but now work intermittently. Timer sometimes comes on, sometimes not. Will replace with digital timers. Would not recommend.
