> 3 dayThis is an excellent power strip. Each plug works. The connection to google/alexa is poor. Approximately once a week each plug on the device goes offline. The workaround seems to be to reset the internet, and then reset each individual outlet, and then reconnect to google. Google says its on kasaa, kasaa says its on Google. I love our dystopian future.

> 3 dayI live on a 20 acre parcel, we dont use passwords as there is nobody within 1/3 of a mile in any direction, and this Kasa product is prevented from joining my Wi-Fi network unless I set a password for the 35 other devices that are already on the network...now I know Kasa is trying to do the right thing, but really? Warn people about the dangers of an open network, but dont prevent me from doing it anyhow, its just dumb...hope this helps!

> 3 dayA person can get back what s/he pays for this smart power strip in savings from electric utilities in about 1 to 3 months. This is how I use the power strip to hunt down which of my home appliance and electronic device uses the most power. It turns out to be my large screen TV, which consumes 100W. I used to have my TV on most of the day even when I am just playing music from Spotify or YouTube. In San Diego, electricity costs $0.42 to $0.52 per kWh. Over 30 days at 24 hours per day, the TV was sucking in (30x24x100)/1000 = 72kWh or $29 to $36 a month. Over a period of 2 months, I simply made sure to turn off the TV when I was not watching it or when I was just listening to music. I was able to reduce $20 per month in electricity bill - $40+ over 2 months, which pays for the power strip. And the saving continues. And the saving continues...

> 3 dayThis product made doing anything on my reef tank a breeze. If I’m working on the tank I can simply tell Alexa to turn things off so I don’t have to use my wet hands to flip switches or grab plugs. I have it set up to feed my fish everyday at 12pm and turn my skimmer off when I dose. I even set it up in Alexa where it notifies my if my return pump goes off and is never off for more than 10 minutes. A game changer for reef tanks on a budget

> 3 dayKristine Mae Butalon in Customer Service is the best! I had trouble adding a device to my Kasa app and she was very helpful. In the end we were able to successfully add my hs300 smart strip to my existing app. Very happy with the quality of the product as well the customer service provided by TP-link support.
