Kaytee Clean & Cozy Natural Small Animal Pet Bedding 24.6 Liters

Smells weird and is more clumpy than the other paper-based bedding. I prefer the other natural bedding at petco and petsmart.

Will not be buying this again. Compared to other beddings I’ve bought by this brand. I’m not a fan of this, it’s just super thin shredded brown paper. Has very little absorbency, and would stick to the bottom of the crate. I’ve never had that issue with any other bedding we’ve used. Save your money and pick something different!!!

I usually like buying paper bedding because it does not stick to my buns fur and get spread around the house (my bunnies have free range). This one, however, sticks to their fur and makes a bit of a mess. Its very absorbent and good quality, and if enough hay is on top it works well. I think I prefer the Carefresh brand, because the bedding does not get tracked around my house. This one may work well for animals who are less fluffy than my rabbits, however.

This bedding is way too thin it doesnt really absorb the urine so you are always having to change out the bedding every so often

I bought this by mistake thinking it was cedar chips and thought why not. I use it in my parrots cage and have never smelled anything so bad. If a bird can make it smell this way after a week, I can’t imagine what small animal would make it smell like.

It absorbs well, but stays wet feeling

Its texture is a lil rough. It feels like shredded napkins than the kaytee white bedding that felt like shredded toilet paper. I have noticed a difference in the odor control versus the white bedding. This brown bedding has a weird smell when I opened the bag but when I use it for my hamster, theres ISNT a strong urine smell on 3rd day cleaning . The white bedding had a strong urine smell on the 3rd day of cleaning. I switched to this one because hamsters like to be in the dark most of the time. With the white bedding, it seemed like my hamster had a hard time keeping her favorite spot covered from light. I strongly recommend this one
