Kaytee Clean & Cozy Natural Small Animal Pet Bedding 24.6 Liters

There were a lot of mixed reviews on this but theres mixed reviews on all small animal bedding so I dove in and tried it. Its really soft, very little dust, and has zero fragrance which is needed for rats. My only issue is they of course throw it on the floor and it sticks to everything. And thats with me having all tile. If youre willing to vacuum/sweep often or if you have one of those floor robots, go for it! Or get those cage liners, those might do it.

During Covid, the Quality Has Dropped! I think the shortage of paper goods has affected the quality of this product and bad reviews are during the Covid period. My last batch of the White bedding had actual strips of Toilet Paper that was unshredded!??? I have used it for years and it is my go-to litter product for my Fancy Mice! Hopefully, the quality will improve when the supply increases! They love it to burrow! The Natural seems to keep its shape for tunnels and the White is the Softest of the two. I mix the two for the best of both worlds! My Mouse Village has bars to help with ventilation. My mice do shove the soiled bedding out of the cage and that tells me it is time to do a good house cleaning! My Mice will pick out the White bedding to pack in the areas where they sleep. I took the picture of my little Siamese Mouse picking out just the white.

This is not as fluffy or as absorbent as the all white bedding by the same name. I will not be purchasing this again. Also the shipping took over a month.

This has been my favorite bedding for my guinea pig for a while. I love that its more natural (and not bleached) and less dusty than some of the others Ive tried. I love how easy to clean/scoop out it is. My guinea pig sure doesnt complain either, and hasnt shown any signs of problems due to the bedding. The pricing is always great, which makes it easy to manage changing out the cage once a week. I would recommend it to anyone looking for bedding for their guinea pig.

Absorbs nicely, leaving the bottom of the cage dry. Pretty fluffy and soft. My Holland Lop enjoys digging in it. I dont have a sense of smell but no one has mentioned a smell from the rabbit between weekly cleanings.

Decided to try this instead of kitty litter. Cat likes it. Its so much lighter than a heavy smelly dusty bag of cat litter. It also does do a pretty good job of covering up any smell somehow. Its soft too so Id imagine it would make good small animal bedding. Id recommend this for both uses! I dont have to change it very often since it is so absorbent and the bag lasts a really long time.
