> 24 hourEverything about this drive is pretty good except for the writing speed. I dont understand why but whenever I write more than 5 gigabytes at a time on the SSD it slows down to a crawl. It starts at a modest speed of 300 MB/s for the first few gigabyte writes then slows down to less than 80 MB/s after. I could imagine that for most people this would be reasonable, since they are not writing multi-gigabytes of data everyday. However its still pretty frustrating that just installing a new game or even downloading multiple videos could cause the system to come to a halt, due to the cache memory running out.

> 24 hourI have a five yearold cheap dell laptop. It had a 1tb hdd and would get stuck at 100% disk usage for long periods of time. I checked and only had 80 GB total disk used. So I swapped in this 240gb ssd with some more ram (16gb vs 6gb) and a fresh windows 10 install. Completely revived the laptop and performs better than when it was new, now I have no oem bloatware. Battery life is poor with the 5 year old battery but the bios time is an impressive 5.6 seconds on most boots. Well worth the $20 or so dollars spent on it.
