Works great - easy install

Neither one of my computers (Dell and Acer) would recognized this SATA-3 Drive. I returned it thinking maybe I just got a bad one. Second one came it and the same thing. I never had any problems with WD or PNY SSD drives. I never had problems with the Kingstons USB drives. But this one, total junk. Spend the extra money and you will be much happier. Also, to prove Im not a robot or some type of AI giving a review, I come from the days of the Times Sinclair ZX80 and Commodore VIC 20 Computers. So Yes, Ive been around the block a few time. So for 35 dollars for this 490gig drive, you will better off with a different mfg and less headaches.

This storage system works very well. I use Linux and FreeBSD. Both systems boot quickly.

The hard drive worked perfectly

This was a great drive and was used as just my OS drive. With only a year of use it died and it wasnt recoverable. Im still giving this drive a 4 out of 5 because overall it was a fantastic drive but not all drives are going to be perfect and I was just one of the unlucky few.

The drive is great for the money and I shouldnt have such high expectations, but it seems other drives for the money operate better for a few more dollars. This drive hangs up on simple windows searches and isnt the fastest. Still, works for reviving a laptop with a bad hard drive. All in all, worth the money, but dont expect that much beyond day-to-day use.

Fast enough read write times way better than 5400rpm HDD

Works well. I use it with a USB 3.0 SATA III Hard Drive Adapter Cable for 2.5 Inch SSD & HDD with Support (from Amazon). A great value for its storage capacity & price.

It fits on a Gateway NV570P28u. This SDD is perfect if you want to bring a little bit more speed and performance on an old laptop. Totally recommended.
