Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

I upgraded a 6 year old laptop with this drive. The old system with Windows 10 on it was almost unusable. It would take 3-5 minutes to boot, then it would hold the hard drive hostage using it at 100% at all times.

The installation of this hard drive dramatically decreased the start up time of my computer.

Much faster hard drive than the 1 TB 5400 RPM 2.5 SATA drive that came with my Samsung Notebook 7 Spin. Windows 10 starts up so much faster now! Using this product in the M.2 slot as the boot drive. The most difficult part was migrating the data from a larger drive to a smaller one, but thats not the products fault.

I used this drive to replace a mechanical drive that was dying. After setting it up, it was so fast at booting that you didnt even get the rotating dots on windows 10 boot. It was less than 3 seconds to login. Amazing speed!!!

I mainly bought this to improve system performance for my ps4 pro. The difference is night and day compared to a mechanical disk.

What a difference SSD makes! Replaced a conventional hard drive with this SSD and its like I have a new computer, had I known it would make such a difference I would have done it sooner!! And now I can wait a bit longer on replacing the laptop!!
