Easy to install

I bought 3 of these (two 120gb and one 240gb) and one was very defective from the start. It caused frequent hangups, and reading and writing files took forever. I tried to unzip a 7gb file and it gave me an estimate of 2 hours. After 17 minutes, I cancelled the extraction and did it on an external mechanical drive in under 3 minutes. I requested a replacement and the new drive is working just fine. However, one of the other drives occasionally hangs up. Im debating whether or not I should request a replacement. It reads and writes as fast as can be expected, so Ill probably just take my chances and hope for the best. At least two are working flawlessly at the moment. Buying this drive is a gamble, but at this price, its probably worth it.

This particular drive was in use as the main system disk for a TrueNAS server and failed after about 8-months. I was able to make a warranty claim online without any hassle and got an RMA code within a few hours. The replacement drive arrived about 3-weeks after mailing in the failed drive.

As soon as I took it out of the box the warranty sticker came off the SSD.... So... 4 stars lol. It no, these SSDs are great. I had the older model of this years ago (120gb) just for windows 8 I think? Or maybe it was when windows 10 first came out. I cant remember.. but install was good and havent fired it up yet because Im still waiting for all my other computer parts to show up. ( I did wish you could flip the face plate over for people that have front SSD mounts for showcasing ) I didnt want it being upside down... So its in the back of the case now. My case is the NZXT H700. I wouldnt really use this for gaming.... For me its just a windows drive. And thats its mane perpouse. But over all its Kingston. You really cant go wrong. And for a 120Gb SSD at $20 at time of purchase? Yeah... Why not.

Huge improvement over a SATA 1 HD in the laptop. Laptop was lagging very bad, I figured this would help but not as much as it did. Im kinda blown away. Wish I would have upgraded sooner.

I mean what can I say. It’s not expensive and it has enough storage to boot off and store your favorite games. It is small, make no mistake, but it’s a great boot drive for a budget pc. I bought a 4TB hard drive for games and I boot off this ssd. Bootup times are around 10 seconds at most and games are quick to load. Recommend for a budget pc build, especially if you plan to get a hard drive for games and such

Luego de instalarlo mí equipo funciona al 100%. El disco es ligero y el rendimiento a mejorado muchísimo. Está casi igual o mejor que cuando compre la laptop.
