> 3 dayI used Fluke for years and loved them but wasnt excited about the price tag. These are well made and have the features of meters several times the price. The additional price for the CL800 is small and worth the extra features that I dont use often (such as K-type temp). The LED light should have been brighter and should have its own switch (it is the same switch for the back-light). The magnet attachment is great as well but is not included. The leads are the weak point of the meter. I prefer extra rugged leads and foresee replacing them a couple times a year. All that being said, I am extremely rough on tools/equipment and I think this one is going to hold up for many years.

> 3 dayI mean, its a meter. Works fine, but the listed and shown accessories werent included. Just spend the extra $20 or so and buy a new kit.

Greater than one weekI found this tool is absolutely accurate. Easy to handle and the display just clear and easy to read.

> 3 dayDC hall effect current mode is unreliable. Difficult to get to and needs constant resets to -0-. Move the meter around - you need to reset it again. Leave it alone for a while (minutes) - you need to reset it again. Just by switching from AC to DC mode I get 1 amp reading with nothing in the clamp.

> 3 dayThis meter was able to capture starting amps for a 4 ton AC compressor. Manually set amp range and then MAX button. The three readings I took varied about 7%, but satisfied my needs.

Greater than one weekDO NOT BUY. Biggest piece of unreliable junk I ever spent money on. Less than 4 months old and it already stopped working. Not only do I now own a Klein paper weight. But it’s “outside the return window” so I can’t even get my money back for this POS. No function what so ever. Doesn’t even turn on. Worked yesterday and today nothing. Do your self a favor and just buy a fluke. By the way. Flukes are cheaper on flukes website than they are on Amazon. And you usually get a discount code for anything over $100.

> 3 dayThe best and most complete tool arsenal I have ever invested for the money. Has everything needed to get the job done and most of all, safely. As a practicing FLUKE usage for 20 years, I am totally jealous w/ this Klein Tool CL800 Clamp meter. Awesome gift for my son in law.
