I liked this meter but the temperature probe (thermocouple lead) did not work. Im thinking about trying another one.

lack of wire piercing probes is a minus in my opinion.

Does the job

I like what is can do, but I didnt like the auto ranging. Scale kept jumping around and rescaling. I turned it off. Then the light button is hidden under the lead clip. Why did they put it there? When using the lead clip, its hard to see the screen. I bought it to read DC amps on cars and boats. this it does.

Dislike that they removed a few features from its prior version. No magnetic holder and no probe holder on this model

So I went through three of these. They look good from the outside with the features they have but that did not end up being the problem. The first one had a piece of plastic under the screen so I returned it, not a big deal. the next had the type k temp reading was way off by like 18 degrees on average or something I tested it against other thermometers in boiling water and crushed ice water. the third one I had for several months and it slowly developed problems. Temp reads off, shuts off when it gets bumped, true RMS is definitely questionable when compared to an analog amp clamp mostly measuring very low amps for gear motors (Amprobe RS‑3 PRO Analog Clamp On Meter, incredible meter), lastly it started reading continuity constantly with or without leads in the meter. Absolute trash if you are trying to get professional work done, it ended up being very embarrassing or me. Never again.

Good meter however I like to use the temperature set up and the adapter got loose the second day I got it and readings got screwed up. Works fine for everything else though.

Good tool. But the package was hard to get into. I understand you don’t want people to steal them out of the package, but I cut my bag trying to get the plastic opened. Otherwise, tool works good.

Excellent product

Shows amps, nice clamp, got peak reading ok. Does way more than Ive learned about so far.
