> 3 dayThis is unacceptable! What a waste of money. It was purchased in February and is already not working properly. If I had known that buying thru amazon warranty voided Kleins warranty - I would NEVER have purchased through Amazon!

> 3 dayThe best and most complete tool arsenal I have ever invested for the money. Has everything needed to get the job done and most of all, safely. As a practicing FLUKE usage for 20 years, I am totally jealous w/ this Klein Tool CL800 Clamp meter. Awesome gift for my son in law.

> 3 daySo I went through three of these. They look good from the outside with the features they have but that did not end up being the problem. The first one had a piece of plastic under the screen so I returned it, not a big deal. the next had the type k temp reading was way off by like 18 degrees on average or something I tested it against other thermometers in boiling water and crushed ice water. the third one I had for several months and it slowly developed problems. Temp reads off, shuts off when it gets bumped, true RMS is definitely questionable when compared to an analog amp clamp mostly measuring very low amps for gear motors (Amprobe RS‑3 PRO Analog Clamp On Meter, incredible meter), lastly it started reading continuity constantly with or without leads in the meter. Absolute trash if you are trying to get professional work done, it ended up being very embarrassing or me. Never again.

> 3 dayIt seems to be a worthwhile purchase. I have been of Grid 36 years and have been through several Fluke clamp meters. It zeros very well in DC Amp mode. I honestly have little use for anything any other functions than, volts, amps, and continuity. I got my moneys worth, but I did replace the shorter leads with my old Fluke leads, as stated, they do fit.

> 3 dayI have to admit that Ive not fully tested it yet but so far I like it. I needed it for high current measurements. For the few voltage and resistance comparison tests Ive done, it compares well to my Fluke 117 meter.

> 3 dayIf I had any issue with it, it would be the leads have plastic on the ends, making it hard to measure an outlet for voltage. I assume they carry other leads, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 3.

> 3 dayI am a Electrician by trade, through out my 22 years of experience 95% of my tools are Klein. I have owned about 3 pair of the Klein testers due to me loosing them, forgetting them on a job etc. Out of the 3 I have owned, EVERY pair ends up having issues when turning the wheel on as the meters will not come on. You will have to turn them off and on 2 or 3 times and sometime you have to tap the meters on your hand. I have replaced the batteries when this occurs and it makes no difference, its something within the meters. This has happened on every pair I have owned from Klein. My next set of meters will be of a different brand as this gets very frustrating when in a tight spot high in the air trying to check voltage. Sometimes this makes me second guess the readout.

20-12-2024It worked fine at first and seemed like a good quality meter. But after about two months of very light use it just died. Became completely unresponsive. New batteries didnt help. I now have a $129 paperweight.

> 3 dayHas a lot of features that are great for troubleshooting that Fluke doesnt offer in the same price range. Not even close! My only complaint so far is that the NCV isnt audible.

Greater than one weekPerfect tool for any electrician or home owner. Very reliable, easy to use, tough, accurate. I like featured that other brands do not have such as magnet and live voltage tester (ncv). Big and well lid display.
