Its a shame that these have a known defect of shutting off randomly and temporarily. Ive never had a monitor do this and researching online for this specific problem yields many results not mentioned in most reviews. Typical workarounds include installing monitor specific drivers, using specific Nvidia drivers, trying different cables, and adjusting power settings in Windows. They are a great value for the price except for this one specific issue. Not a great gaming monitor if it shuts off in the middle of a match.

I bought 2 of these because I previously owned 2 of the 1080 versions of the LG Ultragear monitors and was quite pleased with them. I open them up to find that there is no height adjustment for these monitors. That may work for some but on my desk I need my monitors to sit higher up than this. There is also no cable management built in like the 1080s had which is preferable since my desk is in an open space in my house and I would rather not have the cables hanging loose. The final straw is the ridiculously short power cable they come with. The plug is right on the power brick so they block 2 additional spots on my power strip and the cords are so short they dont even reach where I have them on my desk. I havent decided if I will keep them or not but if I do I will have to run another power strip right next to where the monitors are and will have to buy adjustable stands. The only version of these I can find with an adjustable stand also has a higher refresh rate and costs another $130 extra. LG has really cheaped out on the design here.....

butttt i cant seem to get White to be brighter, compared to my HP 24 1080, the whites are much brighter and more white. Only gripe i have so far, everything else about this monitor is very impressive! Highly recommend

Great monitor. Great picture quality. Did not use for gaming, so can not comment gaming, but for ever day personal use.

It’s a great monitor, it worth the price 1440p gaming and 144 Hz, and it has a lot of features. Make sure to wait for when the price drops. The stand is very high quality.

I THOUGHT I bought the same monitor I bought for the wife several months ago. Same model, same brand, same page, etc. Except hers came with a stand that allows tilt and movement up and down. Boy was I disappointed when this one had neither. To top it off, it doesnt have an auto-detect input. I mean, it says it does, but it doesnt switch to the only source on (HDMI1) when its on, I have to manually switch it every time. Also, the AC adapter is a wall rat (one of those plugs that takes up more than 1 slot on a power strip), so keep that in mind as well. If you are going to use this monitor by itself, and you have your own stand, 10/10 get this monitor. If youre going to use it in conjunction with multiple inputs (more than 1 pc / laptop / anything ) and as a regular monitor stand, I highly suggest you purchase something else.

I bought this monitor to replace a dying monitor, though it ended up as a significant upgrade over the old one. 144Hz refresh rate makes the mouse pointer much easier to find, and Im not limited to 60fps for games. The multiple inputs makes it possible to connect additional devices (I have a Nintendo Switch connected to it in addition to my PC). This is the third LG screen Ive bought and I have no reason to give up on them. My only gripe is a minor one: the placement of the button/nub/whatever you want to call it could be easier to spot. Its on the underside of the bezel below the LG logo. Otherwise, I recommend this screen and I may get a second one in the future to replace another old monitor in my triple-screen PC setup.

I have been enjoying my new monitor. I bought this monitor to up my gaming station to at least the 2k range. I did not want to dive into the 4k monitors quickly start around $500. This monitor fits my needs as a mid-range quality monitor that is great for every day use between teleworking and gaming. So I would suggest this monitor to anybody who wants a quality monitor without having to break the bank.

I had connected my PS5. It had a black screen and flickering but maybe it was the 4K that was not supported on the monitor. Idk, I unplugged power cord and plugged it again and worked. It looks great and all the positive reviews of the specs are true
