Worked right out of the box.The remote truly does work anywhere in my house. We have it setup about 5 feet from the plug but tested it from all over the house and outside. I do wish they had a face plate so it was smooth against the wall and looked like it belonged next to a traditional light switch. It came with foam adhesive attached to it but we added a command strip for easy removal so in the photo it does stick off the wall more than what comes with it. We will be removing the command strip once we decide where we want it compared to the current light switch.

I use the product for a table lamp that was hard to reach.

I added a garbage disposal to my kitchen sink. Although there was an outlet under the sink to plug it in, my insta hot water dispenser used the wall switch and it was on all the time. My plumber suggested this repot control which works great. I just keep it on the counter near the sink. Saved me having to hire an electrician.

Easy to install and use. Very responsive. I like the feel of the buttons and how easy they are to find in the dark. I also really like that the remote can be rotated so we can put ‘on’ on the top and ‘off’ on the bottom.

we use this in our rv hooked up to our microwave and the magnet on and off switch is in the front of microwave for easy use, so now i dont have to open cabinet and unplug microwave, as we must unplug it because we have solar and that would let the microwave stay on but not enough power to turn on and use up batteries i had bought another type but it stopped working within weeks this has been working very well totally love it

Im currently using this in my garage to control my shop lights. My only issue is the remote is held by magnets where it sticks to its wall plate or anywhere magnets can stick too. When its dark and when trying to reach for the switch I always accidentally push it off. It takes very little force for it to come off. I really wish it came with a holder that you can mount on the wall. I do like the idea you can carry the remote as the photos indicate but the truth is Ill end up losing or misplacing it. I did contact the vendor and was advised to review the magnets if they were lose or relocate the switch. Unfortunately, that is not the case and relocating does not truly solve my issue. Ill end up fashioning something so it can stay still, maybe look for stronger magnets or find a holder that will keep it in place. Overall its definitely a useful gadget and super easy to install.

Truly an ingenious product. Easy to install, even easier to use. Range is great. Love the fact that the remote is portable. One small gripe: the magnets are placed at the edges of the remote, so you cant simply drop it back in place. There are only two positions: the correct one and the upside-down one. Maybe its not a bug, but a feature. Could be a tad cheaper, though. Also, would love a pack of 2remotes/1plug. I think there are only 2plugs/1remote packs available. And, of course, this one: 1plug/1remote. Nevertheless, recommended.

Our apartment didnt come with light switches, so these came in handy. They work just like a light switch however I can plug multiple lights into them. I plugged string Christmas lights into mine and hung them around my room. Now, I just walk in, press on and my whole room is lit up. The adhesive was also super easy to just peel and stick to wall. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE. Great gift items too!

This is good if you dont want to go through the hassle of setting up an app for a smart light buld. I can put the remote where I want and then take it with me cause its magnetic.
