> 3 dayBought this just because. Plugged it in to outlet, remote worked like expected, there is a status light on outlet to let you know if is active. Plugged something in, that I had verified functional, nothing. So I tried a different outlet, and same result. Got my meter out, and could not get any voltage to come out of the outlet. Pulled it off the wall, and checked my duplex, and had 120V. Tried many outlets, many different things plugged into it, and mine was DOA. Will be returning.

> 3 dayI love it! Its compact size and bi-stable operation are perfect for my needs. To achieve its small size, the device uses a bi-stable (a.k.a. latching) relay. A bi-stable relay has two stable states. It uses power only during the instant it is being switched on or off. A conventional relay uses power the whole time it is in the on state. A bi-stable relay allows the capacitors in the power supply circuit to be much smaller, making the devices smaller size possible. All tiny smart switches will have a bi-stable relay for this reason, but some will probably reset the relay to the off state when powered up. Fortunately for me, this unit does not do that. I solved the issue of the device being a little bit too big by moving it to the other socket on the outlet. That allowed me to plug a normal-sized 15 amp grounded plug into the other socket. Someone complained that the magnet that holds the transmitter to its base is too weak. Thats true, but I solved that by using a piece of Velcro-like 3M Command Strip to hold the unit to the wall, not using the base at all. The Command Strip can be easily removed from the wall without damage if you follow the removal instructions.

> 3 dayAfter 6 months the battery died, even though it says an average of 10 years worth of use? Cant get the back of the clicker open so I cant change change battery. So at this point I feel robbed of my money.

> 3 dayOur apartment didnt come with light switches, so these came in handy. They work just like a light switch however I can plug multiple lights into them. I plugged string Christmas lights into mine and hung them around my room. Now, I just walk in, press on and my whole room is lit up. The adhesive was also super easy to just peel and stick to wall. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE. Great gift items too!

> 3 dayIm currently using this in my garage to control my shop lights. My only issue is the remote is held by magnets where it sticks to its wall plate or anywhere magnets can stick too. When its dark and when trying to reach for the switch I always accidentally push it off. It takes very little force for it to come off. I really wish it came with a holder that you can mount on the wall. I do like the idea you can carry the remote as the photos indicate but the truth is Ill end up losing or misplacing it. I did contact the vendor and was advised to review the magnets if they were lose or relocate the switch. Unfortunately, that is not the case and relocating does not truly solve my issue. Ill end up fashioning something so it can stay still, maybe look for stronger magnets or find a holder that will keep it in place. Overall its definitely a useful gadget and super easy to install.

> 3 dayLike most, I used this remote switch for a hard to reach light. It was easy to install and so far it’s working great. If I had to say anything negative it would be the diameter of the receiver. I find it a little too large. Overall great product.

> 3 dayNo more climbing out of your warm cocoon of a bed to turn off the light! Originally I bought a bluetooth socket to control my bedroom lamp but that quit working after a short couple of weeks. Not to mention it was annoying to have to pull up the app on my phone, let it load then click off the lamp. Im thrilled with this remote version! The socket is behind a heavy solid wood dresser and I was worried the signal would not reach but it turns on and off the first click every single time. I can stay in my warm bed all cozy and turn off the lamp when Im done reading or whatever. The remote also has an optional sticky pad on back so you can stick it to the wall next to your bed or wherever. Great feature! It is absolutely fabulous! Much better (and cheaper) than the bluetooth alternatives!
