I like this remote control outlet and I thought it would be better than a more bulb one I have. However, I can only plug a small cord into the other outlet...this device encroaches on surrounding outlets just enough that I got both this and a power strip. Kinda bummed. It sticks out of the wall a lot too.

They show being able to use 2 on 1 outlet set but 1 covers part of the second outlet

My wife bought some string lights to decorate her home office, but they dont have an on/off switch. They were plugged into a power strip under the desk and hard to get to. After plugging them into the adapter, now she has an easy switch to turn them on and off. We have a few different scenarios we can see this being useful, like the aquarium lights in our fish tanks. Definitely plan to get more of these just as soon as we figure out how many we need!

I have 2 lamps in my bedroom both controlled by a switch by the doorway. The lamps are plugged into the upper socket on the wall outlet which is controlled by the switch. A small lamp is on the nightstand beside the bed. The other is a tall floor lamp on the other side of the bed. Im handicapped. Hard to get around. I can turn off the small lamp by hand. Easily within reach. The floor lamp was always a problem for me, but no longer! Now I control it with this remote switch. Works great. Problem solved.

I have an old Coke machine and it doesnt have an on off switch, I would have to pull the plug all the time to turn it on an off. So I bought this switch and it works as a perfect way to turn the machine on and off and the magnet controller helps because I hid it on the back of the the coke machine. Now its just a quick touch for on/off. Reasonable price too!

we use this in our rv hooked up to our microwave and the magnet on and off switch is in the front of microwave for easy use, so now i dont have to open cabinet and unplug microwave, as we must unplug it because we have solar and that would let the microwave stay on but not enough power to turn on and use up batteries i had bought another type but it stopped working within weeks this has been working very well totally love it

This switch solved my problem of how to turn my outside garden pond pump on/off without having to go outside the house. The switch receiver plugs into the outside power socket that powers the pump. The on/off buttons are now inside , no wires required.

Using this to control some new LED lights I attached to the garage ceiling. I used a two receptacle outlet on my garage ceiling. One of the receptacles was occupied by the plug for my garage door motor. A standard, 3-prong plug. Placing this mini adapter in the remaining receptacle was an extremely tight squeeze, resulting in things not being nearly as secure as Id like. The magnets that hold the remote onto the wall are not very strong. I can see this getting knocked loose to smash on the concrete floor of the garage. Edit: It seems the transmitter in this may interfere with the receiver for my garage door opener. Im going to test it out and if thats the case this gets returned. Functionally the remote works great.

I ordered one and liked it so much I purchased a 2nd. I use these in the garage to control fans, it gets hot in the south. These work very well, very impressed with the range and functionality. Highly recommend!

I added a garbage disposal to my kitchen sink. Although there was an outlet under the sink to plug it in, my insta hot water dispenser used the wall switch and it was on all the time. My plumber suggested this repot control which works great. I just keep it on the counter near the sink. Saved me having to hire an electrician.
