> 3 dayI was able to configure this quickly and setup a test in my front lawn and back lawn outlets. Both tests show that I can control these easily with the app on my phone. Each outlet can be separately turned off and on using the app or Alexa voice commands.

> 3 dayTried the set up for 20+ minutes. Makes you down load the google assistant app and then their app but then you can’t connect the two. I’m returning it. 2nd dimmer I bought from Amazon that I’m returning.

> 3 dayEasy to set up. I received this today and within a half an hour I was able to have it turn on two sets of outdoor Christmas lights by talking to Alexa. The instructions with the company Meross and with Alexa were both easy to understand. And I am 80 years old and not the greatest at computers and iPhone.

Greater than one weekThis plug and app was easy to install. I needed an electrical source that would come on at midnight and shut off at 8am. This one does that perfectly every time. Additionally, should I want to use the plug temporarily for something else, I can accomplish that by just pressing the button on the plug, then pressing it again when I am finished so it can go back into its pre-programmed routine.

> 3 dayFor years when Ive talked to people about smart home outlets, Ive explained that they have two states: on and off, and they cant be used as dimmers. Well here comes Meross to make me a liar, and pull off a dimmable outdoor smart plug. Based on other reviews here, I picked this up to dim my LED café string lights which when fully lit would light up the neighbors yards on three sides of me. The plug works better than I expected. It allows me to bring them down to a nice moody level, plus with Apple Home support I can use Siri to specify a percent to dim the lights to without getting up from my lawn chair. I wish it had more than one outlet, and it would be nice if Meross started shipping products with Thread/Matter, but its a great start and I hope to see these things added in future versions.

> 3 dayIm switching many of my remote devices to Meross. A landscaper put in an off-brand timer for my yard lights - hard to setup and failed after a year. My Meross one bought the same time is great! Bought another to replace the off brand one and have everything in one app. Way better!

Greater than one weekVery easy setup through product app, connects to wifi easily and is immediately response. Ability to control each outlet individually, and can setup timers/regular lighting functions. Havent tested out Alexa function, not necessary yet, but will try soon. Really happy with it.

> 3 dayI have had the outdoor switch running now for a couple months with no issues. BTW, kudos to Meross for great customer support. A dimmer switch (MSS560) purchased in May, 2019 became intermittent in February 2020 and then failed to connect but still worked manually. I contacted Meross customer support with an offer to send the switch back for troubleshooting if they were interested in doing a teardown not expecting anything else. I was told that warranty was for one year and if I would email an Amazon receipt they would send a replacement. The replacement arrived and is working fine. I did not even have to send the failed switch back. I have multiple Meross Smart Switches in our house working now for over a year and this was the first and only failure.

> 3 dayI wanted to like this device and for the first couple of weeks it worked fine. But then it disconnected from HomeKit. Viewing the support site, I learned that new firmware had been released but the update would require downloading and installing the Meross app, which in my book defeats the security inherent with being able to connect and manage devices directly from within HomeKit, circumventing 3rd party app/cloud pass-through of ones data. But since the Meross app was the only path to the firmware update that would supposedly fix the connection issues, I did so. Meross warns that updates may take up to two minutes. This update froze and after 10 or so minutes I reluctantly had to reboot the Meross app (interrupting a firmware update should always be ones very last resort). The Meross app would never again re-pair with the device for another try, despite power cycling the device, trying its hard reset sequence a number of times, and even restarting the iOS device. Opening a support ticket and filling out all the info they were seeking seemed way too invasive and time-consuming just to ask a simple question they failed to address in their FAQs. This thing is going back. I tried a Meross device previously and had a disappointing experience that time too. Fool me twice, shame on me I guess. My smart home network consists of over a hundred WiFi, Zigbee, and Zwave devices and despite the variety of manufacturers that make up that collection, none of those brands have given me as much trouble as Meross has.

Greater than one weekThis was very easy to install and set up with wifi. I love that it can be controlled by an app on my phone. It can also be controlled manually if need be. The two outlets allow us to have patio lights and an outdoor fan hooked up at once but used independently. I like this product!
