Microsoft Surface Laptop Go - 12.4 Touchscreen - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 256GB SSD - Platinum

The only complaints I have so far are that the keyboard doesnt seem to have a backlight for making being in the dark with it easier, nor does the mouse/finger pad work like normal. I cannot for the life of me figure out if its a user problem or a computer problem. I have had to install a wireless mouse to use for when Im trying to select text to copy or drag and drop or whatever. I have to use the touchscreen if I want to move the windows around. All this because the parts of the finger pad that are supposed function as the right/left clicks do not appear to be working.

I kept it in the hopes that it was something wrong with the software but after ONE MONTH the keyboard and mouse completely quit working. If someone wants to offer me a return or exchange then Im happy to change this review but I would HIGHLY AVOID this laptop and find something nicer.

I do not need a high-powered laptop, but Microsoft should have included the rear-facing camera option even at this price. Even basic smartphones have that option. Otherwise, though, I really like it for my needs. :)

Cute notebook but.....keyboard should have been lit, graphic card sucks.

Its a great item with a grate value for money

Just bought one woth msft employee discount, sent to 3rd party ecompanystore and email after purchas says sent on behalf of Microsoft cic, wry poor customer service hung 4 times, no dispute resolution or complaint dept, laptop when charging even when turned off has a vibration felt only when moving finger on non keyboard, non mouse surface that’s feels like a current which makes it a hazard, cal customer service they said so many of the surfaces are being returned, water time, wasted effort and have to look for another one now if this return goes through, say no to Microsoft, never again.

Using it for work at home, email, and general internet surfing.

I purchased this laptop recently from Best Buy. I got lots of headaches initially but figured out how to make this laptop much more usable. Im liking it more and more despite its drawbacks but its really up to you to figure out if this laptop suits you since the Laptop 3s are getting cheaper.

Had to return it, didnt work out of the box. Never got past setup. Made a pop noise and shut down, tried for an hour to get it to work. Still waiting for the refund so I can purchase a different product.

Im giving this four stars for everything because Im not computer-savvy and there may be issues which I havent encountered or they dont bother me. The laptop arrived quickly and I was able to get it going without too much trouble (again, because of me and not the machine). The only thing I dont like is having to Sign In all the time but Ill look up how to resolve that. The keys feel nice; they are not backlit, but I have a little bendable USB plug-in light which illuminates the keyboard but not the entire room. Im very happy with my purchase, and its a nice color, too. Not too pink.
