> 3 dayI was very happy this plug just worked. No smartthings firmware BS, I just plugged it in and searched Minoston in smartthings. Very Nice!

> 3 dayI purchased two in 2021. They operated well first year but now the manual switch is failing, this makes it difficult to include or exclude from the z-wave system.

> 3 dayI had no trouble pairing this to my Z-Wave hub (ISY994i), the instructions were fine. It worked well, too, and I appreciate the outlet cover for when it is not in use. For my purposes, the lamented lack of a right-angle plug (the product photo now shows the correct straight plug) was a slight irritation, as that would have been nice, but ultimately not a major issue for me.

> 3 dayThe plug is not 45 degrees offset... its just a straight old plug, which means the cord does not hug the wall but rather sticks rather far out from it. On top of that, joining to a Z-Wave network using Hubitat, this item is recognized as a Zooz double outlet. After research in the Hubitat user community forums, found how to connect this properly (its quite a workaround), but it shouldnt be that difficult.

> 3 dayProduct connected to Vera Edge but get “Failed at: Setting Special Association”. Switch will still turn on and off but app thinks there are failed devices. Cannot find anything on Vera’s help about what a special association is. Resolve the special association error by changing Automatically configure to “No”

> 3 dayFor some reason, this switch seems to turn off by itself in high-current situations. The switch is rated to 15A, and I have a device that can draw ~10.6A continuous. There is an over-current, over-voltage, and over-load metrics that also come from the switch, but none of them are triggered when this happens. If it isnt 15A, dont call it 15A. It seems to hardly handle 10A.

> 3 dayHomeSeer doesn’t seem to sell as many non-HS branded accessories as they once did. Smart Wi-Fi accessories are easy to find online. For those of us that like having local control via a hub with zwave it’s getting more difficult to find products these days. This device was a breeze to add to my network. Plug it in, press the button three times and search for new devices. Only took a few seconds. It’s zwave+, and dimming works flawlessly. I’m using this for led string lights and it’s perfect. It’s a few bucks more than a Wi-Fi unit but it’s super nice to have local control when the internet is down!

> 3 dayUsed outdoors to power spots and lights on my deck, patio and pavilion. The switch works as advertised. No issues. The low profile, 45 degree plug fits outdoor plastic fixtures perfectly.

> 3 dayThe unit integrates seamlessly with Home Assistant and Z-wave. Convenient monitoring of power consumption and line voltage right within Home Assistant. Mine performs perfectly inside the house, but due to having aluminum siding and metallic low-E windows, the signal from my Z-wave dongle doesnt reach the outside location very well. This is not a shortcoming of the unit; just be sure to have a good path thats not shielded for RF. It is a very capable switch as long as it gets a good signal from your Z-wave hub.
