well packed , shipped right a way and quality was better than I had expected. Would buy again if I had t do it all over again.

This thing works very well, is very accurate, and find that I can get an edge location to about 0.001 just fine. I have made the error of driving it hard into my stock along the Z-axis a couple of times and it still keeps going! It is also very forgiving when over driven horizontally. When using it I typically turn the spindle at about 100-300 rpm so that the miss-alignment wobble is very visible. I have used it against mild steel, Al, and plastic and there is no visible wear on the tool. I should purchase a spare or two.

Only thing Id improve is finding a way to not break them because I went the wrong direction with the Mori. :-)

My last mitutoyo edge finder lasted 15 years would still be using if a newbie wouldnt have ran into part and broke it.

With a name like this has, what can you say negative?? Works great! I’m nervous of the battery powered ones, this has no drawbacks.

Good edge finder, reads spot on with my Lagune DRO. It does leave a slight mark on softer materials (aluminum/plastics) unlike my Starrett though, not sure why this is and am docking it a star for the issue.

Perfect grind, absolute mechanical perfection. Instantly, repeatably, and very visibly gets you within a couple tenths (0,005mm) every time.

What can i say, it very simple tool. one of the first thing you make in shop 101. Was to lazy to make one.

I bought this edge finder for use in my home/hobby shop and am very happy with it. Ive used it in a collet in a Bridgeport-style knee mill and found it to run true with a very crisp break when touching an edge. Having a smaller 3/8 shank will allow me to use it in the CNC router table as well. One thing I would note, with its small diamerter, the end doesnt kick out quite as far as a 1/2 shank tool, so if vision is a problem, a 1/2 shank might be the way to go.

Works as it should, at a great price. Was delivered quickly, with confirmation. I would buy from this seller again.
