> 3 dayWell manufactured, precise edge finder. Lacking documentation on usage like recommended RPM, maintenance(if any). It is obviously possible to take it apart since there is a crew on top of it.I like it but would have liked a small printed note with size,RPM etc.

> 3 dayGreat edge finder for the manual mill. This is a replacement for a Starrett edge finder that broke and it is every bit as well made and high quality. I also ordered a few cheap Chinese edge finders and wish I had not. In terms of quality this is a far superior tool

> 3 dayI ALMOST went with a laser edge finder, but this tool was chosen instead (a lot less expensive) and I have to say it is one of the best quality tools for this price I have ever purchased.

05-01-2025This product doesnt seem to be an actual Mitutoyo edge finder, rather it is likely a generic copy. It seems to work but is not as accurate as I had hoped. Its fairly difficult to determine when to stop, and I had been under the misconception that there would be an audible indication as well. If there is an audible indication I cannot hear it over the sound of my milling machine motor (which isnt very loud, to be honest). I will admit that it could be operator error and that I may get better at using it with time.
