> 3 dayIt is a little stiff when trying to find a fixture offset but it started to loosen up after 4 different set ups

> 3 dayI bought this because the budget version I was using was wearing out or somehow got damaged. This is somewhat more expensive, but not by that much, and it just works better. The motion of the head at the edge point is significantly more, so easier to see, and when you back off a little, it comes right back to the center. For work with students, who dont always take it as slow as they should, this makes a big difference.

Greater than one weekSeems to be a very nice if unspectacular edge finder. Only had it a week or so but Ive used it a number of times and it did what you want it to -accurately found the edge I was working on. For the price I like what I got!

> 3 dayPart was delivered in a timely manner, and it is all you could ask for in an edge finder. Its a Mitutoyo, and it keeps with the Mitutoyo standard of quality. The spring action is strong. Theres no questioning did it jump or didnt it? like sometimes happens with lesser quality edge finders. Good quality part, good price, good shipping time. Cant ask for more than that.

> 3 dayGreat edge finder for the manual mill. This is a replacement for a Starrett edge finder that broke and it is every bit as well made and high quality. I also ordered a few cheap Chinese edge finders and wish I had not. In terms of quality this is a far superior tool

> 3 dayYou’re working hard and all of the sudden, you can’t find the edge! You think to yourself, what will I do? Then you remember you got one of these bad boys! So you pull out this bad boy! Slam it in the spindle and find that edge! Man, it’s never been so easy!

> 3 dayWith a name like this has, what can you say negative?? Works great! I’m nervous of the battery powered ones, this has no drawbacks.

> 3 daySeems to work OK. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it. I wouldnt trust it for something that needs to super precise but it will get you within a few thousandths.
