Works well as advertised. I have several coputers at home connected by a LAN.

Really happy with my purchase. Simple to use and very reliable. Now I can connect so many more devices.

This was a very easy item to install. It is basically a plug and play type deal. Everything worked after installation! Good price too.

Does not light amber for slower than 1 Gb connections like advertised on the switch itself. Not a real impact in performance, but this is a very basic functionality that super cheap switches have available.

Easy to use, just plug and play. But when one of the ports died after about 7 months, I called Netgear as this has a year warranty. Yes they will replace it, BUT I have to send it to them at my expense, and then they send a new one. So, meanwhile my wired network would be disconnected for the several weeks this takes to play out. OR, for $20 they will send me a new one first, and then they pay for the return shipping of the old one I guess. Cool, except the switch costs roughly $20. So money-wise I would be the same just buying a new one myself. I can understand Netgear not wanting to get ripped off by sending me a new one first, and providing a return shipping label prepaid for me to send the old one back, only to have me not send the old one. Perhaps they could set it up so they bill me if they dont get the old one back in like 2 or 3 weeks? Would make more sense to me, as far as them honoring the year warranty. Disappointing they approach it how they are. Netgear is my usual go-to, but Ill have to look at a few of the other tech brands as well, and see how they are reviewed these days.

Great value product worth the upgrade

I love this switch. It simply just works. The only thing that I am not fond of is that the power cord does not come out of the same side as the ports.

Installed in less then 1 min, all port are working

Wanted to add additional ethernet ports to my EERO pro system this it so much easier.
