I have been looking for smart switch with VLAN capabilities with more than 4/5 ports that wasnt hilariously overpriced. This fit the bill.

We needed a new switch for the multiple devices and I trust the Netgear name. this is working perfectly.

Only in use for three days. So far works well.

straight forward no nonsense purpose built unit. we used it in our church and so far its flawless.

Added a mesh network and was using an old router as a switch. One port short, with a NAS, Hue hub, PC, VOIP phone and the gateway router. The fiber router uses its ports for the DVR, the wireless hub for the other TVs, the mesh and the Netgear switch.

This switch does exactly what it is designed to do. I wish everything i have bought for my network was as reliable as it is!

Netgear is supposed to have a 5 year warranty (2 on the power supply). I had one of these for about 18 months. Over the last months its been increasingly flaky, every week or two it just hangs and needs to be unplugged and started again. It doesnt matter how much its in use (its done it when weve been on vacation with minimal network traffic).

I needed more ethernet ports and thought I might have to buy a new router, but this was so much cheaper and easier. Very easy to install--just hook all the pieces together.
