I bought this projector for home theater in a bedroom after watching a detailed review on YouTube. The projector works great, the picture is bright, sharp and colorful. I love the remote control, its handy and feels high quality. The projector also looks better than on the pictures - the quality is great for the price. One thing to note - the ratio between the distance to the screen and the size of projected image is slightly less than our previous little Vankyo projector, so we had to put it further from the wall to have the same size of the picture - this made the projector sit

At first glance, the quality of the box itself was great including the helpful package details along the side of it. Secondly, I saw the pieces were individually wrapped and stowed separately from the rest. The overall set-up of the projector was super easy with its clear and understandable manual. I also like that it came with its own cleaning supplies for when it gets too dirty amongst the inside. The quality of the projector itself was fantastic with the Volume, when at max (100), sounds just like any normal handheld speaker where its not overly obnoxious or annoying. The picture and color quality was really amazing and could conform to either 16:9 or 4:3, which I appreciate.

I bought the PJ20 projector after my better than expected experience I had with Nexigo’s camera which I had bought for video conferencing. The projector came nicely packed and included remote, power cable and audio out cable. Unfortunately the remote didn’t come with batteries but that didn’t stop me from popping into two AAA batteries I had with me. The set up was very straightforward - I have mine placed on a stand and projecting onto a wall. Setting up the input was straightforward and intuitive and so was focusing the projector. After that, I was able to hook up a streaming box and start watching my movie. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the picture quality was as well as the sound from built in speakers. Granted it’s not high fidelity but it’s pretty good. Overall I am happy with the product. The one con that I would like to address is the fan noise - it is a bit loud but not loud enough to be distracting when watching the movie.

I got this NexiGo PJ20 projector for our church to replace an older Epson that we have been using for a while. The unit arrived on time and was packaged well. One of the rubber feet on the bottom of the projector had come off and somehow attached itself to the front of the user manual, but that was easily resolved. Its a sleek unit, pleasing to the eye. The front has a large circular lens with a pop-off lens cap. The top front edge of the projector has embedded function buttons, designed to be operated from behind. The rear of the projector has two HDMI ports, two USB-A ports and one A/V port for inputs, and a 3.5mm output port. Theres also a combination power switch and keystone adjustment knob. Included with the projector was a remote (requiring two AAA batteries), a power cable, an A/V cable, a user manual and a cleaning kit. Amazon did not mention a projector case with the NexiGo, but I was still disappointed that one was not included. I have purchased several projectors in the past and they all came with carrying cases. However, Amazon has many offered by other vendors that I can select from. Now to its performance. It is bright, even at its default setting. Brighter than the Epson. The overall picture clarity is good as well. Setting it up -- I connected an HDMI cable from my laptop to the HDMI1 input on the projector, because that would give me an apples-to-apples comparison to how we currently use the Epson. I did have to fiddle with the Windows 11 system settings at first, because although the projector displayed the PC image, Windows could not detect the NexiGo as a second monitor. I changed the desktop display settings from duplicate to extended to run my third-party presentation software (which I also had to reconfigure), enabling the NexiGo to function as a separate display. Still, Windows could not detect the NexiGo as a display. Perhaps the projector isnt recognizable as a display in Windows. Not a show-stopper for me. The included remote was a helpful plus. I used it straight out of the box to turn on the projector and to configure settings. I give it mixed reviews. Its simple enough to navigate through the on-screen menus, but at times I needed to be careful how I touch the buttons (example, short press vs. long press for the menu). Using the focusing function was a bit tricky. When I want to focus, a generic focus screen appears in place of the image I am actually trying to focus, which I dont like. To me thats extra overhead--but it does work. Finally, I wanted to see how the NexiGo connects wirelessly. I didnt get very far connecting to a network. It appears that this projector can connect only to discoverable networks that display on-screen. I wanted to connect to a hidden network, but found no provision for that, which was surprising. There was an IP icon that brings up a screen listing different protocols, but on that screen I was limited to selecting an icon showing a broken chain--which did absolutely nothing! (By the way, our wireless router was in an adjacent room, fully operational with no solid wall between it and the projector. My laptop and cellphone were not far from the projector, and they both had solid wi-fi connectivity, so I could conclude that a weak signal from the network was not the issue.) So I was happy to see that the NexiGo supports Window Cast. Of all the screen casting options this projector provides, the Window Cast seems to be the only one not requiring a standard network connection to function. So I selected this option from the on-screen menu, then set my laptop to search for the projector. Bingo! With one click I was connected. With my PC about ten feet from the projector, the picture quality was decreased slightly but not terribly. As I streamed some online videos, I noticed a one-half- to one-second delay between the video and the audio, which I found noticeable perhaps because I was looking for it. Sadly, before long, an intermittent connection issue occurred in which the transmission would become choppy. Attempting to resolve this, I moved the computer around to various distances from the projector, eventually placing it directly next to it. Didnt resolve the issue. I had kept the computer plugged in to AC all that time to maintain its power and keep the casting level constant. I did not do a firmware upgrade before testing the NexiGo. The manual recommended against it, saying that all new models are shipped with the most current firmware and there was no need to upgrade it out of the box. Perhaps I should have upgraded anyway? Would it have made a difference? All in all, I like the projector and plan to use it in place of the Epson in the future, but mainly for wired HDMI connectivity. There are a lot of features I did not test which may come in handy down the line. For its low price, this NexiGo is a pretty decent projector.

Product review for Nexigo PJ20 Overall: At a price point of $250 I recommend this product. If you plan to buy a projector to use it for PowerPoint presentations with some associated videos, this projector is more than sufficient and at a much better price point than a true business projector. If you plan to use it for movies at home, the quality is good in a dimly lit room. The core functions of this projector are easy to use. Some of the more technical functions such as wi-fi mirroring are adequate but lacking from my experience with it. Picture quality: In a dimly lit to dark room, the picture quality is good. In a well-lit room, you will still have decent picture quality but there is an obvious degradation of sharpness and intensity. Fan noise: The fan is loud, even if you have the projector’s internal speaker to max you will still hear the fan in the background. If you plan to use it in a conference room for presentations, it not too concerning. If you plan to use the projector for home movies, I recommend external speakers to overpower the fan, otherwise, you will hear it whirling in the background. Audio volume: The internal speakers are adequate in a room about the size of a standard classroom. I would recommend external speakers for a large conference room. Focus: Setting the focus on the project is very easy. This can only be controlled by the remote but there are two dedicated focus buttons and achieving a clear picture requires little effort. Heat: The project emits a noticeable amount of heat. This can be felt from about 5 feet away from the projector on the side of the fan. Height adjuster: This is a manual height adjuster located on the bottom center of the projector that lifts the front part of the projector up about an inch. Outputs: There are 2 HDMI, 2 USB, 1 AV, and 1 audio output. Bluetooth: Can connect with Bluetooth speakers, earphone, soundbars but not with phones or computers. Wi-Fi Mirroring: The intended function of Wi-Fi mirroring is to allow you to share your device (phone or tablet) screen with the projector. Both devices must be connected to the same network for this function to work. I was able to use this function to display my pictures and videos stored in my album. But I could not airplay a YouTube video from my phone to the projector. The devices were able to connect and I got a successful audio connection but the video did not display.

Ive worked with a few different projectors in the past, and I have to say, at this price point, this one takes the cake! Lets start with some of the major pros: 1) Setup was super easy! Literally just plugged it in and the picture adjustments went by quickly 2) The picture was crisp and worked well with all the lights on 3) The wireless connectivity was an amazing feature to have! Ive struggled to get setup with others before (if they even have the feature). At this price point, it was a really great addition Cons: 1) The power cord could be a little longer, but easily fixable with an extension 2) Very slight lag when connecting wirelessly, but this is to be expected. Not a problem at all when watching videos, but can be for games. Overall, I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a projector!

This projector comes in a neat little package and for the $200 price tag it does its job well. Compared to a stronger, more expensive projector, the difference in lumens and quality in UI design really shows, however, for the budget price its not a bad buy. The projector offered all the basics i needed to view my media and I was delighted to find it was easy to install and set up. The ability to mirror my android phone to the projector was nice, and it played media nicely in my living room.
