> 3 dayThe Nexigo PJ20 is an awesome product for the price range. Having never owned a projector before I was expecting a difficult set up process and to spend lots of time getting things focused. NOPE! This one was super easy to setup. The focus controls on the remote mean no manual adjusting and takes a matter of seconds to help you find a clear picture, while the keystone knob knob on the unit itself makes finding the right “tilt” a breeze. It comes with a small height adjuster under the front of the unit, which I feel leaves a little bit to be desired. I think it would be better to have 2 adjustable legs, one on each side to provide a bit more stability, and the ability do any lateral adjusting as needed independent of each other. Fan: The fan noise is really quiet. I watched a full football game, and never once noted hearing the unit at all. Brightness: I have found it’s definitely shines in a dark environment. With any lights on it seems to get washed out a bit, but this could also be down to the quality of the screen as well. In the end I think if you’ve got a good screen and the right conditions, the brightness is not an issue. Remote: the remote is incredibly intuitive, if not basic. Doesn’t come with batteries, so buy your own. Sound: this is probably the biggest weakness in the unit itself. Using the unit on its own is OK, but is difficult to get full, rich, theater sounding feel, so you’ll definitely want to connect it to some external speakers. It has Bluetooth, but I found an incredible lag between the video I was watching and the sound I was hearing, which makes it basically unbearable to watch anything, so you’d probably be better off hardwiring to something. All in all, this is a great unit. I would definitely recommend it’s purchase if you want something quick and easy to set up. Perfect for outdoor movie nights. It’s really intuitive to use and easy to move. You can have it up and running in under 5 mins. The nexigo customer service is top notch as well. I had a small issue with my first unit, reached out to the customer service folks, and had a new one delivered in 2 days.

19-12-2024I never managed to get the focus to work after trying several depths of field (distance from the screen) and using the very limited manual adjuster on the back of the projector. The reviews online were so positive about this product, so I dont understand why my model was so out of focus...

> 3 dayInside it’s fine with low lights. Outside it’s great at this price pint based on a handful of movie nights. I’ll add a video later if I’m able. My first projector. Had issues with Apple mirroring so I hooked up a Fire TV Cube, bought a budget $50 150” screen, and a $50 tripod. Good to go. Kid loves it. I want to get a 200” screen now. Review made me select stars for Bluetooth, but to be honest I haven’t tried. For such a little thing these speakers are surprisingly loud with nice crisp sound. Find myself choosing this on a clear night over my brand new 77” LG B2 OLED. It takes some playing around with to get the picture crisp. Not gonna lie, I was frustrated at first but I had to play with it and when I got it down I was very happy with what I saw. You need to get the position where you want it, hit the focus button right or left on the controller, twist the nob on the back and adjust that till it looks best, then fiddle with the controller going left or right to get the focus perfect. Once you get the hang of it it’s easy peasy lemon squeezie moving forward. I do worry about losing the remote though. Without it I couldn’t get the focus right.

> 3 dayI have a small finished basement that I use the projector in and it works great..great sound, easy to connect to Wi-Fi and phone mirroring (iPhone). I use my wall as a screen and it’s perfect for me, everyone is going to have a different preference but it works great..I will be adding external speakers to get more of a movie theater sound but the sound from the projector is pretty good in my opinion, I even have to turn it down low certain times

> 3 dayThis product was so easy to set up and connected to the bluetooth on my phone so easily. The quality of the picture was great, the sound was very good. Its portable and can be used anywhere you need to project anything. Ive used it twice already to project presentations in rooms without computer monitors to run training classes at work. I also used it in the backyard to watch a movie under the stars. I would highly recommend it.

> 3 dayGot this a little over a year ago and it worked fine with the exception of a small black spot in the corner of the image. Customer service gave a partial refund of 20$ which is fine cause it doesn’t bother me. However this brown shape appeared and really looks bad. I liked this projector because it made me realize I really like it over a tv but I wouldn’t buy this one again. Price is good but you may have to replace in a year

> 3 dayWe were pleasantly surprised at how fast and easy it was to set up and use this projector. We didnt find instructions in the box, but no worries, there are QR codes right on the box that quickly bring you to the Users Manual. Set up is simple and only took my husband a few minutes. Half the battle is finding the right location to project to and from, but once that is done you only need to plug in the projector and turn it on. Theres no warm up period like with those old projectors from grade school, it starts right up. Connecting it to our home wifi was straightforward using the on-screen prompts, and from there I only needed to find something to stream from my phone or computer. We tend to use the (Windows) computer for projecting so we still have our phones available while the movie runs, but mirroring our phones is also quick and simple. I appreciate the included easy-to-navigate remote. The picture is surprisingly crisp and clear, even when projecting from 12 feet away in a somewhat light room, and the colors are quite rich. Projectors have come a long way in that regard! Even with the slight tint of the wall, the colors were so similar to the colors on the computer I was streaming from that I could barely tell the difference between the two. Im not a super visual person but I think just about anyone would be satisfied with the image quality from this projector. My photographer husband noticed the difference, but even he didnt mind it. The solution, of course, is to paint the wall white, or buy a screen, if it bothers you a lot, but I dont find it necessary. Also, there are easy keystone and focus adjustment tools, but everything looked great out of the box so we havent needed to use them. As other reviewers have noted, there is considerable fan noise, which is probably the biggest downside to this projector. I realize its necessary to have a fan inside the unit, but Id be lying if I said it wasnt noticeable and a little distracting. The projectors sound system is fine for most uses, but hooking up our Bose Soundbar to it takes it to the next level. We have no problem with the sound syncing with the picture - everything seems integrated and creates an impactful experience! We dont care for how a permanent large screen tv looks in our home, so this is a great solution to have a very large picture without a large screen tv. Set-up and use are super-simple and produce a pretty darn good viewing experience. We are very pleased with this the Nexigo PJ20 projector!

> 3 dayThis projector is super easy to setup and picture quality is awesome. It has wireless casting for your devices so that you can easily show pictures or mirror your device for meetings. Relatively inexpensive projector that can be used for so many different things!

> 3 dayI ordered this for movie nights with my family and it already has burnt out pixels. I have to shove random things under one side to get it to sit level. It arrived with the air filter broken.
