> 3 dayI went with the NH-C14S due to advertised limitations on cooler height with my Cooler Master Silencio 352 mATX case. I found out later that a taller cooler may have fit, but I dont regret the choice.

08-01-2025Not good enough for a i9 13900K, as the temperature spike uncomfortably high and the fans keep on spinning too fast with every other effort by the CPU, but very compact and probably great with processors that produce less heat. Go for the NH-D15 if you have a power hungry 13th gen top processor, those are up to the task in a well ventilated case.

> 3 daymuch smaller than most 140 mm heat sinks. its foot print is amazingly low. despite being slightly more compact and substantially smaller footprint. it performs much better than coolers that are far larger and interfere more

> 3 dayNot easy to install when the motherboard (X99) is already populated. Lack options to install a slim (15mm) width fans. Cooling performance is ordinary.

08-01-2025I purchased a Z370 motherboard and installed an I5 8400 CPU and intended on using the stock cooler, since the chip obviously wasnt going to be overclocked, and runs pretty cool compared to the Sandy Bridge CPU it replaced. That was last November.
