Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4, Premium Dual-Tower CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

Greater than one weekCools my non overclocked Ryzen 9 5950x very well. Quiet but greatness can be achieved by tuning the fan curves in bios for maximum quietness. The larger fans can be heard under load. In a quick comparison, I found fan speeds didn’t make a huge difference in lowering CPU temps and lower fan speed for less noise. Under load, it will keep the CPU at 75 degrees, sometimes peaking to 80. My build is on a Phanteks P600S with 3 intake 120 fans in front, one exhaust 140 at the back, and a 240 radiator with 2 exhaust 120 fans on top.

> 3 dayThe fan and its cooler take a bit of work to install, but if you follow the instructions and use the provided tool, it is a very good cooler that will easily drop your temperatures. My system when the fans are on high drop about 10C , it can get loud on full blast but it is tolerable for the performance it provides.

> 3 dayIve been a fan of the Noctua heatsinks for a while. This Heat sink does not disappoint. I grabbed it to replace the stock wraith cooler that comes with the AMD 2600X. It just gets too loud (high pitch at that) when under load.

> 3 dayI love this one. Its really made to control temperature with no Noise. I used it for AMD 2700x CPU and I used before liquid cooler and CPU include cooler. this one is very practical and very silent more than liquid cooler and CPU include cooler. I really recommend it. Do not lose your money in liquid cooler it is a prank (at least for one I have bought).

> 3 dayI was having problems with my pc shutting down due to high temperature when under heavy load. I had one of the basic Corsair water coolers. I had already taken it off and reapplied the thermal grease and cleaned the radiator to make sure that is was done correctly but it was still overheating. Running CPU testing software I couldnt make it through even half the test without reaching 102c and having the computer go into protection mode and shut off. With this cooler I can run the same test and never got over 82c. I can even overclock if I want to now.

> 3 dayEasy to install, very quiet, and at least in my case (be quiet dark base 900) better temps then a top mounted dual 140mm water cooler (EVGA), although this may be because of airflow restriction for the top mount.

Greater than one weekIf youve got the case room to accommodate this behemoth, you wont regret going with Noctua. The fans are very quiet, even when running at 100%, and keeps the processor at comfortable temps (seems to plateau at 66-68 degrees Celsius when stress testing a 2700X). But again, I cant stress the size of this cooler enough. This thing is BIG.

> 3 dayBest air cooling solution in the market today. I really dont trust water cooling even though they look awesome, its the risk involve with leakage or the pump going bad; But I digress Noctua products are amazing the colors not so much but for a Ryzen build the orange like theme the Noctua fans look really good for it.
