Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4, Premium Dual-Tower CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

I was skeptical, both because I knew itd have to be huge/heavy, and because water is still the thing.

not disappointed at all. keeps my temps around 25-30 degrees C. installation was easy thanks to the am4 brackets. i was also impressed with the fans. they are surprisingly quiet. the only issue i have is that the cooler is slightly too big for my case(NZXT S340 elite), but this is more my fault for not doing more research. the top of the heat sink is right up against my glass panel, which i dont really mind because it gives me peace of mind about the heat sink sagging. that being said, i would totally recommend this. the performance is great and worth the price. my advice is do your research to make sure it fits in your case. a good rule of thumb is that if a 140mm fan can fit in the rear of your case, this cooler will fit.

Better than most AIO liquid CPU coolers. Havent cracked above 65 degrees Celsius on an AMD Ryzen 7 1700X under heavy load (folding@home application), and medium load (intensive video games like R6 Siege) havent cracked above 55 Celsius.

Used this on my new system to keep my Ryzen 9 5900 X cool. Works perfectly and was easy to install

This CPU cooler did not for the Asus TUF motherboard as listed in their specs. was a waste of money.

Device arrived with no am4 installation kit, ended up being a waste of time. Returned the product.

Pros-Super Quiet on the Ryzen 5 2600 and MSI x470 Gaming plus board, if ya not boosting or overclocking CPU.

Its a monster. Barely fits in the case.

Taking a break from liquid cooling. This keeps the temp well below max temp on my ryzen 1600x, with less noise than the h115i

The Noctua keeps my Ryzen 3900X very cool. The fans rarely increase speed with good air flow and are very quiet. The unit is huge. You can buy Noctua in black now it was not a option when i purchased.
