> 3 dayI’ve got an old PC (core 2 quad q8300) which I’m breathing new life into at the moment. I’d added a case fan (noctua as well) and an SSD. The only problem with this computer was the super high temperatures it was running at. I decided to get rid of the old thermal paste and replace it with this thermal paste by Noctua. The combination of the addition of a new case fan and this thermal compound dropped my average and max CPU temperatures by 20 degrees as measured whilst running geekbench 5. Scored 925 in multi core in geekbench which brings it not far off an i3 8100 which is around 8 or so years newer than it. Not bad to be honest, and I think the major difference was the replacement of the thermal compound.

> 3 dayPaired this paste with a corsair a500 cooler and my cpu was at 38 degrees Celsius while playing minecraft. I know minecraft isnt a heavy load but 38 degrees is lower than most peoples idles. (Minecraft was on 185 fps with medium settings)

> 3 dayMuy buena pasta térmica no conductora. La usé para sustituir la pasta de la tarjeta gráfica y me ha bajado unos 20°C, no exagero, la pasta de la gráfica estaba ya bastante deteriorada.

> 3 dayUna pasta térmica que se encuentra entre las mejores del mercado (Artículo Cooling Silver, Grizzly Krionaut...), y siempre he confiado en la calidad de Noctua, en sus disipadores, en sus silenciosos ventiladores, y en su excelente pasta térmica. Esta es su última gran invención y en mi caso ha bajado bastantes grados en promedio la temperatura de mi CPU.

Easy to apply
Thanks to its excellent spreading properties, there is no need to manually spread NT-H2 before installing the cooler: Simply apply some paste onto the CPU (see instructions for details), put on the heatsink and you’re ready to go!
