I had a odor somewhere in the fridge and freezer that was driving us crazy. It smelled like someone was storing some skunk weed in the fridge (there was none). We emptied out both the fridge and freezer and cleaned every surface with Clorox wipes twice! We isolated every item in coolers and checked them for scents. We emptied the ice tray. We absolutely could not find the cause. It drove us crazy for 2 months. Finally my wife found these on Amazon and convinced me to give them a try. We put one in the fridge and one in the freezer and we waited. And waited. And waited. After about a month we noticed the smell starting to diminish just a tiny bit. Now, three months later, the smell is gone. I did not think it was going to take so long. I am not sure if maybe the smell just gave up eventually or if these things finally worked. Either way, the smell is gone so I guess they get 4 stars. -1 star for taking too long.

About two weeks ago I noticed a nasty smell when I opened my refrigerator doors. In another day it was stronger. I cleaned everything out and wiped down every shelf and drawer. A good time to check expiration dates, too. So, I cleared that all up as well. Then I wiped down the rubber sealing around everything. Smelled ok. I put two new boxes of baking soda in and tossed the others that had been in there over a month or two. The next afternoon I noticed the smell coming back so googled what to do next. I saw this product online and thought I’d give it a try. When it came the next day I did the whole fridge cleaning again. This time I took out the shelves and drawers and cleaned them again. They looked ok but thought I’d do it again and if this didn’t work then call the manufacturer. This time I placed the product as noted on the instructions. I also put a small box of baking soda in the fruit and vegetable drawers. IT WORKED GREAT! No more odors. It’s been over a week and I just ordered another so I have it if I need it. Couldn’t be happier. Note; My refrigerator is almost three years old and never had this problem before. I still don’t know what the problem was but, so far, so good.

Had an open bag of seafood that was making our ice smell/taste funny. The cartridge worked within the hour for the smell and once we finished the bad ice the new ice came out tasting fine again

Keeps the kimchi odor down in refrigerator. Somehow my husbands kimchi spills or runs down side of jar and all you can smell is the kimchi. This helps alot at reducing the smell. Has a slight chlorine odor which I dont like but its mild and the lesser of two evils. Works better than just baking soda.

So weve all been there... We tell ourselves were gonna: Lose weight! Excercise! Eat healthy! We go to the grocery store and pick out vegetables, lying to ourselves that well eat it. You put it in your fridge and forget its there as you order yourself an extra large pizza because you deserve it, you survived another day somewhere in this world where theres a Karen, and thats worth an extra large pizza with pepperonis. Maybe you add olives... because thats healthy. Right? Right. So time goes by and you forget about your vegetables of lies that are rotting in your fridge now until one day you open it. The smell hits you. It smells like your boyfriend saved 3 days of Tacobell farts because he went on a long weekend trip with his buddies and they dont know what proper diet is. They only know they put the bro in broritto. And that smell is just as awful as that pun. You dont know what to do, you dont believe baking soda can help you. You turn to a higher power... You turn to NonScents. After receiving your deodorizer, you right the 6 month expiration date on the back like the solid citizen you are. You notice the slight, weird chlorine smell to it but thats okay because you already bought it and its probably some fancy science stuff you dont understand anyways. You move on to exorcise the smell from your fridge! You place it at the scene of the crime after throwing away the vegetables. A few days go by and the smell begins to dissipate. The smell that once haunted you is now gone. But... Every once in a blue moon youll get a faint whiff to remind you of those lies you once told yourself. Its okay. NonScents will make it seem like none of this ever happened. Its going to be okay.

The refrigerator in my friend’s camp shut off well the refrigerator/freezer was full of groceries. He did not know it had shut off until a week later, in 90 degree weather ! Needless to say, the refrigerator was so gag worthy he thought about throwing the refrigerator and contents out. But he cleaned and scrubbed it. He then used bleach… still smelled , baking soda … still smelled, vinegar… still smelled. Got these and the smell is gone except in the freezer where there had been shrimp and meat. However the smell in the freezer is almost gone. I bought a stainless odor reducer for the freezer and with this and the stainless the freezer is much better.

Dont be discouraged if this product doesnt work overnight. It takes awhile. I had a terrible odor emanating from my fridge. Took everything out, tossed food and washed everything down. Nothing helped. Even had a repair technician in to see if he could advise. He checked for any openings for critters and for any type of spills that could cause the smell. He had no answers, other than telling me I had a big problem. I tried baking soda with NO results. So, as a last resort, I tried this deodorant product. I placed one in the refrigerator and one in the freezer. Both areas have circulating fans. It has taken its time, but has started to work well. It has taken roughly two weeks to get results, but they are positive. I will be ordering more just to be sure this odor NEVER comes back. Sometimes things are worth the money you spend on them. This is one of them.

I was out of state for 3 months over the summer, and needless to say, some of the little remaining food that was in my fridge had gone bad. My fridge smelled terrible even after I threw everything out and washed it. I even tried putting an air purifier in the fridge (a stupid idea in retrospect, but oh well), this is literally the only thing that helped. I was skeptical at first but this is a miracle product, in just a few days the smell is gone. Wonder if they made it in Hogwarts.
