Used this product in the fridge and freezer due to ice tasting funny. After a few days it was back to normal. Baking soda did not work so this product worked well for us

We were having some work done in our kitchen and the fridge was unplugged and plugged off and on over a weekend. Although we didn’t initially notice any casualties from that, after a few days a terrible rotting smell was coming out of it. We cleaned it and wiped it down and put baking soda in it but still could not find the root of the problem. After seven days of gagging and doing research and reading reviews I found this product. Sure enough within two days the smell was completely gone! When you take it out of the package it smells a little strong, almost like chlorine. But once you put it in the fridge that smell goes away and you only notice a very light scent. Would recommend!

This product does exactly what it states. I had a refrigerator malfunction and everything spoiled. Before I knew it the damage was done. What an awful odor! I was so skeptical but tried this. After cleaning the refrigerator and using bleach and baking soda, the stench was still there . It was like nothing was done to clean it. I got these in the mail and in one day, one day! The odor was gone. You will not be disappointed.

I bought a used fridge. It had to be the kind of fridge that looked good on a quick visit, but when I got it to it’s home, I realized that the fridge had to have been owned by Dexter... or some other psychopath. The smell from inside was enough to scare the neighbors away and police started to slow down when they passed the apartment. I even saw a flock of vultures hanging around looking for the dead body. I mean, how could i pass up this great fridge, priced so well... if I had any only known that it had likely housed a dead body... or several dead bodies before I owned it. If I could only buy a time machine on Amazon as well. Well, I tried Baking Soda; didn’t even touch the smell. Neighbors were starting to watch me as I came and went. Luckily a quick Amazon search turned up this jewel. I threw it in the fridge and *boom* problem solved. It took a few days to remedy the smell, and I had to throw the baking soda away (only to have my garbage can smell like a slaughter house from the dead rotting carcass smell it had absorbed). I needed up having to move the NonScents to the freezer to absorb the smell in there too. All I can say is this little jewel had solved my problem and now I am able to store my most delicious foods in that fridge. Highly recommended!

I opened my refrigerator door, and was blasted with a very strong odor that smelled like broccoli that was way too old! I did have a small stalk of broccoli in one of my vegetable drawers, but it was sealed tightly in a plastic bag, and no smell could I detect with it close to my nose. I tossed it anyway, opened a fresh box of soda for the fridge, and thought that would fix the problem. For the next few days, every time I opened the door, I could tell that the smell was not getting less, it seemed to be getting stronger, and was starting to be noticeable in the freezer! I then decided that the soda was not going to work by itself, and installed 3 small bags of bamboo charcoal in various areas inside the fridge. I decided to also perform a long overdue reduction of items that seem to collect over time. Thatll fix it, I thought. And, look at all the free space I have now! Again, a few days later, no improvement noticeable yet. So, I ordered 1 each NonScents refrigerator deodorizer to try. It was delivered on Friday around noon. I immediately opened it up and placed it on the middle shelf inside my fridge. Much to my amazement, when I opened the door on Saturday evening to fix something for dinner, the smell was GONE! The only smell noticed was nice fresh air! Freezer too! This magic device, in 1-1/2 days had done what baking soda and 3 bags of bamboo charcoal could not do in 2 weeks! I admittedly was sceptical that the NonScents deodorizer could work, much less that fast! But, this experience has taught me what to do with refrigerator/freezer odors, and how the keep them away. I am absolutely happy with this product, and would highly recommend it to everyone.

It initially makes the whole fridge smell like bleach, but it eliminated the lingering kimchi smell in my fridge. 3 months later and it’s no longer covering it up.

Had a tube of anchovy paste leak in my fridge. The fish odor literally soaked into the plastic wall of the bin. Scrubbed it but couldn’t get rid of fishy smell. Bought this and hoped it would help , took about 4 days but I’m noticing the smell is finally going away thank god
