> 3 dayI never really write reviews, but I broke radio silence for this one. We had king crab legs for Christmas dinner and we had them in the fridge for about three days before we cooked them. The spikes punched holes in the bag and the crab juice leaked everywhere. It smelled so bad I moved it to the freezer hoping to control it (bad move). The crab was delicious and we cleaned the fridge and freezer with 409 and moved on with our lives. Fast forward a month later and one day the whole thing smelled like death. It was horrendous. I went through box after box of the baking soda deodorizers and they did NOTHING. The ice was starting to smell like dead fish, it was awful! I pulled everything out and deep cleaned, no effect. Out of desperation I went to Amazon and bought these things thinking it couldnt get any worse. After about a week - GONE! No smell. I read some reviews about a chlorine smell, which I noticed but omfg it was so much better than dead crab!!! I am SUPER happy with this product and will remember it for future mishaps.

> 3 dayBought this after seeing the positive reviews. Happy to add mine to the list. My husband and I returned from our magical Maldives honeymoon to find a truly horrible surprise waiting for us. The outlet our fridge and freezer were connected to had tripped off and there was a horribly stinky and gross mess to clean up. Melted, rotten ice cream allover the freezer, meat, veggies and fruit. Just a giant, incredibly stinky mess that took over an hour to clean up and had us gagging while laughing (to keep from crying) at the juxtaposition of waking up in paradise and coming home to this. After cleaning with all the disinfecting and deodorizing agents we had, the rotten smell lingered in the freezer still. So I bought these fridge deodorizer after reading reviews. It started to work after only a few hours. Right now the smell is gone. I’m really glad the reviews were true and I got this handled on the first try. I saw someone complained in a review about the chlorine smell of the deodorizer getting in their food. I haven’t experienced this with using it in our small 2 Cu Ft freezer and don’t smell chlorine or anything new in there at all. Just the absence of the stench. Can’t speak to how it does in a fridge in that regard.

> 3 dayI used to do baking soda for the fridge to help with eliminating any odors but now I wanted to try something different for a new change. This product worked fast for me and its great! My fridge has a lot of food items that does leave a lingering odor or are pickled so definitely needed something that could be tucked away at the back of the fridge without leaving any mess. This product worked very well in helping get rid of any strong odors, especially any vinegar/sour notes. Now, I can open the fridge without having any lingering scents afterwards from opening/closing throughout the day, so I would say its pretty fresh.

> 3 dayWell worth the money and they actually work! (and last a long time too) No odors at all in my fridge or freezer. The devices themselves give off no odor either. Win-Win.

> 3 dayThis product does exactly what it states. I had a refrigerator malfunction and everything spoiled. Before I knew it the damage was done. What an awful odor! I was so skeptical but tried this. After cleaning the refrigerator and using bleach and baking soda, the stench was still there . It was like nothing was done to clean it. I got these in the mail and in one day, one day! The odor was gone. You will not be disappointed.

> 3 dayI am so glad I found these deodorizers. They are heavy duty, long lasting, and the fully enclosed packaging means there’s no risk of spilled baking soda in your fridge. I use them for about six months and then replace. They do an amazing job controlling odors!

> 3 dayWe moved a couple of months back and noticed right away that the fridge in our new house had a bit of an odor to it. We figured a good cleaning would take care of it. After a couple of thorough cleanings in the first month of living in the house, we hadnt gained any ground on the smell. We tried boxes of baking soda, DampRid, and activated charcoal. As a last resort, I spent four hours disassembling the inside of the refrigerator (see pictures) in an attempt to do a deep clean. I removed foam pieces and soaked and scrubbed them in the bathtub. I removed gaskets that seemed to be especially smelly and replaced them with trim intended for sealing exterior doors. I was very frustrated the next day when the fridge odor was obviously still present. I then stumbled upon the NonScents Refrigerator Deodorizer product and thought Id give it a whirl. I didnt notice any improvement a couple of hours after installing it after work one night. The next morning I thought the fridge smelled better, but also thought that I could be imagining that. Later that night, I was convinced that it was really working. The smell continued to dissipate over a couple of days and was completely undetectable to my wife and I after about 5 days! One review that I had read on this product mentioned a chlorine smell being imparted to nearby food. We have not noticed this at all. Upon opening the package initially, I did notice a bit of a chlorine smell, but that was it. I do not smell anything chlorine-y in the fridge. Id highly recommend this product.
