> 24 hourI DO NOT recommend this projector. The projector is louder than expected. It doesn’t sound like the typical fan noise but like an annoying buzz. It’s distracting to have this projector on in a low ambient noise environment. After about 6 months of living with this projector which is mounted to the ceiling, a large hair has somehow found its way behind the lens. This is magnified to about 1/4 of the display height and it blows around with the fan. It basically makes the projector unusable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

> 24 hourAt 600 bucks you can’t go wrong with this sure you can pay 2000 and 3000 but I don’t think it’s worth it. I bought $120 projector and it was really good. I was surprised I got this one and it has a few more shells and whistles, but as far as the picture quality, it probably went from 82% to 95%. I bet if I got a projector that was $3000 it probably be another 5% better but after a few days, I’m not sure I would really notice that much. So far this is held up if it breaks down and starts getting crappy. I’ll do a new review I’m really happy this really has helped increase our entertainment pleasure.

> 24 hourThis was my first projector purchase. Overall I was pretty happy, was bright enough for daytime use, HDR content looked great. All the expected keystone and adjustments available. However, after two months of daily usage, it now will not turn on, and throws a bulb error code. Luckily I am still in my refund window, however I will be shopping with BenQ instead and staying away from Optoma.

> 24 hourThis projector was pretty easy to set up, the picture is very sharp and very bright I’m using a sound bar for sound. And extremely great value projector I have mine set up on a 135 inch screen and is bright enough to watch during the day with no problem

> 24 hourNot going into length on this. But after 2 years, white dots are beginning to take over the screen. This is a failing DMD chip. Contacted technical support who informed me the chip was $400. Then theres a $110 cost, right out of the gate. Plus shipping and Im sure other fees. To fix a chip will cost the same as a new projector. Not to mention the part is not in stock. I informed them that this will prevent me from ever purchasing another Optoma product. And that Id share my experience. Didnt seem to matter. I would encourage you to steer clear.

> 24 hourThe picture quality is great. Was on the fence about maybe getting a 4k projector, but realized how unnecessary it was for me. 1080p is perfect. The brightness is great. Sometimes I darken the room, but it isnt necessary most of the time. The input lag is so low, I dont notice it. Even when Im playing a FPS like Halo Infinite. It creates a good amount of heat (like any projector) and the built in speakers are awful. But who cares about that? I bought a cheap sound bar and Im very happy with the whole set up.
