> 3 dayIt is a great backpack. I love the compartments it has; it is designed for travel with pockets for all your needs. The leather flap covering the main zipper makes it difficult to open with out the holder noticing, Makes it perfect for traveling. It doesnt seem like a huge backpack but has enough room for a weekend of traveling, a day out shopping, or even walking around doing daily activities; it is a multi-use backpack. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good sturdy and stylish backpack. This line is also one best grade leathers out there. Would purchase this backpack and other items from this line again.

> 3 dayThis bag is gorgeous. I am very picky when it comes to leather, there is many fakes out there and substitutes. This is definitely cow hide, its think soft supple leather. This is NOT goat leather, or any other small animal out there. It is medium in size I would say, def fits a laptop. Not a good overnight bag for a girl or a “go bag for disaster” being it is on the smaller side. I think I will give this to my daughter for a diaper bag ( it will be perfect for) and hope they make bigger back packs soon! Again, this bag is gorgeous and if it was a little bit bigger it would be a 500.00 + bag. Still it is a real deal at the price they have now for this size.

Greater than one weekI purchased this in the summer of 16 and loved it at first. Beautiful smell, the leather is very strong, and overall it looks very well made. Unfortunately after about 6 months one of the main straps had started slipping and at 18 months I have to be careful putting it on from that side. Additionally, the main zipper has come loose from one of the sides and split in two so I can no longer zip it up from that side. Very Annoying. I have used the backpack daily to and from the office with a 17” laptop, but it wasn’t exposed to anything more strenuous. Polare was very friendly when contacted concerning the issues and even though it was a bit outside the warranty period, they offered to replace it, if I paid S&H to China. That would have been pretty expensive on its own so instead we were able to work out an agreement for a sizeable discount on a new replacement backpack (new design addressing both these issues). We both recognized that sometimes, no matter how high the level of quality intended, undesired things can happen. Their attention to Quality and Customer Service has shown me that Polare is a company that stands and supports their products fully. As such, I can highly recommend this company and this bag.

> 3 dayMy crappy laptop backpack started falling apart, and I wanted to get something that would hold up to moderate usage. I decided to spend the extra money and get something I felt would last me for years. I think I made the right decision. The Polare feels great on my back, and there is nothing like that awesome leather smell. I usually keep my 10 laptop in it, but it easily fits my 15 laptop along with a few books. The one flaw is that the straps for the front pockets dont stay, so I ended up curling them up and pushing them through the metal part. That curled the straps enough, so if the curled part came out from the metal, they were still curved enough to not come out and leave the pocket open. That was an easy enough fix for me to not want to knock a star off and still recommend this backpack to anyone. This backpack held up through my last year of nursing school and has continued to endure.

> 3 dayFirst, let me say that the Polare Leather Backpack is an fantastic looking bag. It is made from very thick, high quality leather and I have been super impressed with it. I purchased the bag because I needed something that would look just as good whether Im wearing jeans or a suit. This bag mixed business and pleasure perfectly. The bag is extremely solid however there are some weaknesses in the zipper area (at least the original version). I travel a lot and Im not exactly gentle with my bag and eventually I did tear the fabric around the zipper and messed up a few teeth on it. This meant I could no longer close it up and needed to replace it. I had only had it for about 15 months when this happened so I contact Polare. They offered to send me a replacement zipper that I would have to get installed or a substantial discount on a new bag of which the latter is how I chose to proceed. In the new version, they have also fixed another problem I had with the original and added velcro to the pocket flaps which keep them closed. I never really had a big problem with them coming open but this is a nice fix. I had planned on just installing some metal and magnets in the long term if it did become a problem. I cannot tell you how many compliments and people have asked me about my bag in the time that I have had it, but I would highly recommend it.

> 3 daySuch a fantastic bag. It goes everywhere with me now. I use it primarily as a motorcycle bag, and it has withstood wind and rain without complaint. (I do not usually subject it to the rain, but sometimes it gets caught out in it.) One of the zippers on the main pouch will skip teeth if the bag is full or if I zip it closed quickly. Keep the leather conditioner on it as well, it feels like it will outlive me.

> 3 dayIve had this bag about a month and have really enjoyed it. This is a replacement for a messenger bag and it is definitely an upgrade! I like that it has a lot of pockets that I can separate out things into compared to a lot of backpacks that just have a few large pockets that you lump things into. Chargers in one pocket, headphones in another, office supplies, medicine, everything has a place. I have a Dell laptop that is 13 x 9 and it fits easily into the laptop pocket. There is a smaller interior divider that my Kindle Fire goes into. A small pocket for my mouse and another pocket for a cell phone. I have a regular sized office portfolio notebook for papers and a legal pad. It all fits easily. The side pouches fit a 16oz bottle of water which is also handy. In a perfect world, the leather would be a bit darker, but the leather looks nice and evenly tan. I did treat the leather with a waterproof sealer since I carry the bag on my motorcycle. This did darken it slightly and it will darken with use, so it is a minor thing. I was surprised at how much I like the pocket closure flaps! They are velcro underneath the flap. The stay secure, but open easily in a second. Lots of compliments on the bag at work!
