> 3 dayI absolutely love the bag. The quality is awesome and the design is impeccable. Would highly recommend this bag over most leather bags you can purchase locally and online. I love it and it came on time and in good condition. The bag is designed very well and for a person like me who is a professional and a student, it meets my needs. I am able to carry all of my books without it being bulky or unwieldy. The laptop compartment fits my IPAD pro 12.9 perfectly.

> 3 dayI dont normally leave reviews for items that I buy online, but I bought this bag four years ago when I first started college and it has held up beautifully for me despite all the abuse Ive put it through. No issues so far and the only care that Ive given the bag is conditioning it about once a year. I highly recommend this bag for anyone looking for a bag that will last them for at least the next several years!

> 3 dayIt is a great backpack. I love the compartments it has; it is designed for travel with pockets for all your needs. The leather flap covering the main zipper makes it difficult to open with out the holder noticing, Makes it perfect for traveling. It doesnt seem like a huge backpack but has enough room for a weekend of traveling, a day out shopping, or even walking around doing daily activities; it is a multi-use backpack. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good sturdy and stylish backpack. This line is also one best grade leathers out there. Would purchase this backpack and other items from this line again.

> 3 dayThe Good First, let me say that I get many compliments on this backpack everywhere I go. I love the look of the leather even as it acquires scuffs and scrapes as I travel. It has a rugged manly look that many of my colleagues seem to like. This backpack does not have any flex or stretch. The strong leather construction does not allow you to stuff in more than it was designed to fit. That being said I had no problem fitting in my 17in ASUS Gaming Laptop with its power cord along with an IPAD, IPOD and Kindle Paperwhite. The side pockets can accommodate a water bottle and the 5 front pockets can store an assortment of power cords and accessories. 5 Stars for looks. The Bad The main zipper seems to be a strong metal type that you would expect on a heavier weight leather backpack but from the start I have had problems with the zipper not staying closed. After a few months the zipper is almost completely useless. I have not read any reviews that lead me to believe this is common issue with this backpack but for me this is a major flaw as it compromises the security of my possessions since the zipper will pull apart as a carry it and you dont feel it happen as you walk. The outside pockets have a simple strap that runs under a metal loop that keeps the pockets closed. I have found that the straps easily pull out of the loop as you are walking and anyone can easily access your pockets. I think a simple head button stud would do the trick. Unfortunately I travel all over Europe and having unsecured pockets is a deal breaker for me. - 3 Stars for a weak zipper and loose pocket straps that leads to unsure items and a sloppy look. The Ugly Nothing Ugly to report as of yet. I will be contacting the company who handles the 1 year warranty and I will update this review when the issue has been settled.

> 3 daySo I read the reviews and for the most part it had great reviews but the zipper was an issue for some. I sent an email to the company before purchasing and they quickly replied at but my unease to rest, so I made the purchase and have taken the bag on a trip to China and so far no issues. the bag fits well under the airplane seats and as far as I can tell is a great product. I will update if issues arise.

> 3 dayIve had this backpack for 12 days now. The day I got it my first impression was that this was an exceptionally well built backpack. Over the short time that Ive had it some flaws have became apparent which just shouldnt exist on a $170 backpack. First, what I like: The leather actually seems nice. It is the thick sturdy kind of leather and it appears to be stitched together well - hopefully this impression is correct and time wont prove me wrong. The zippers also seem sturdy and well attached. Appearance-wise, I love it. Not much to say here, you see the product photos. The flaws: Notice the U-shaped metal fixtures on the external pockets, through which the leather straps slide? Theyre not metal, they are plastic. But thats not a huge problem, fake metal is the norm these days. The big problem is that they come loose. They are screwed on, and the head of the screw is sandwiched between the leather and a layer of cloth, making it incredibly difficult to screw back in to the plastic fixture. The manufacturer could have picked better buckles for the shoulder straps too. They come loose throughout the day; the left one faster than the right one. I find myself constantly re-tightening them. I have some small gripes with certain aspects of the design itself, but those are more a matter of personal preference so I wont list them as flaws. 3 stars really seems too generous right now, but two seems a little harsh. Ill leave it at 3 for now, hopefully nothing else will come apart for a while.

> 3 dayEDIT: So after a few months I noticed that the main zippered compartment just wont stay closed. I dont overstuff my bag with anything, but the zipper will burst open while I carry the bag around. Ive tried to find Polares contact information and havent had any luck. If anyone has their customer service email or phone number please let me know. The leather material is great, but Im really unhappy with how unreliable the zipper hardware is. The good: This is a gorgeous and roomy bag! So many people have asked me about it. Its my everyday backpack that fits tools, a set of clothes, books, and etc in a surprisingly compact and fashionable design. The not so good: I like to stay organized and the outer and inner pockets are so helpful. I dont really like the side pockets because they are so small. If anything other than a very tiny item gets placed in the side pockets the clasps wont be able to close. I also found that the straps dont feel as thick as the material on the bag. I bought this in March 2017 so Ill write another review before the year is up to see how it holds. The tips: Although leather is already sturdy, Ive used Leather Honey on it to help make the outside water repellent. Ive survived my first heavy rain storm with my things intact. In the future I might just throw a backpack cover on it to be safe. I also lubricated the zippers since they felt a little rough out of the box.

> 3 dayProduct arrived and looks good - as advertised. leather and construction appear to be of good quality. Plenty of space/pockets for storage. Only thing I would love to see in the future is a strap to slide over the handle for luggage. As a frequent traveler, that is a big advantage and I cant find it on a leather backpack, only on the nylon ones.

Greater than one week(UPDATE: Only a day or two after posting the original review, Polare reached out to me to offer to send a brand new bag with an improved zipper. I obviously cant tell if this will last longer than the original, but I have to say the new zipper is seemingly more durable and well constructed. I very much appreciate Polare for the fantastic customer service. Buy with confidence that if something does go wrong, theyll do their best to fix it. I am leaving the original review intact for context.) The bag itself is constructed well, but one side of the main zipper has never worked properly. The thread typically comes undone behind the zipped zipper, causing the zipper to become caught. Its quite frustrating when attempting to pull out a book or laptop while fighting the broken zipper. The fact that this bag came with a premium price tag makes this unacceptable and I would take your money elsewhere.
