Polare Cowhide Leather Multiple Laptop Backpack Day pack Travel Bag Satchel with YKK Metal Zippers

I was looking for a good quality leather backpack / laptop / travel bag to replace all the high school style backpacks. I wanted something with an older, and more rustic and rugged feel to it. This bag is just what I was looking for. Its a very manly bag in my opinion, something Indiana Jones would be proud to take on an expedition. There is plenty of room in the main compartment and it has two dedicated pockets to hold a standard size laptop, and a tablet. Plenty of additional room for a portfolio, headphones, chargers, or an set of clothing. The individual pockets on the outside are functional and can hold a variety of things, chargers, sunglasses in a case, or anything else you can fit in there. Its very sturdy leather and a little stiff though I expect it will loosen and age quite well with time. The handle on top is very sturdy and could certainly hold up under a full load. It looks and feels great carrying it at your side or wearing it on your back. My only complaint is the lack of padding on the shoulder straps. Overall its a great bag, at a good price, and was exactly what I was looking for. Im looking forward to donating my other backpacks to Goodwill.

It is a great backpack. I love the compartments it has; it is designed for travel with pockets for all your needs. The leather flap covering the main zipper makes it difficult to open with out the holder noticing, Makes it perfect for traveling. It doesnt seem like a huge backpack but has enough room for a weekend of traveling, a day out shopping, or even walking around doing daily activities; it is a multi-use backpack. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good sturdy and stylish backpack. This line is also one best grade leathers out there. Would purchase this backpack and other items from this line again.

Just took this pack across Europe and into Northern Africa. In the process we got caught in a severe downpour on the Alps. 1) You will read about zipper issues. It is heavy metal zipper build on a pliable leather. Go slow and you will be fine. It is high quality. No issue here. 2) You will read about.lining issues. The lining is quality and sewn in to a product with soft leather and heavy metal zipper. Close the bag with caution and you will be fine. No issue here. 3) The bag kept all of my things dry in a sever down pour on the Alps. Having said that. The bottle holders on the side retained water and the eventually permeated the inside very slightly. A product of a hard to water treat location. I poured out the cup plus of water from the holders and the whole thing dried quickly (and the result was basically condensation in the interior of the bag). The only slight frown was the bags bottom wasnt as well coated as the rest of the bag. This could also have been from the bottle holder permeation. But this was not light rain or medium storm. It was a torrent, and if that was the worst of it I find no issue. 4) You will read of the bag not being able to hold much. I dont know what others were carrying but I could not over pack the back and cause a weight problem and I carried heavy tech equipment the entire time [thankful for item # 3] 5) You will read of shoulder strap slippage from tightening down to the proper size. The straps are designed for you to loop the strap through the metal ring to prevent slippage after adjustment. No issue. To be clear, I used the bag daily from a month before the trip through the entire trip and hours at a time, as well as constant during the trip. This isnt a bought it two days ago here is my opinion review. As me questions for me details about how it was used. Well worth the purchase.

I have 2 slight criticism: 1. the straps on the inside of the bag that secures my laptop could be a little shorter to restrict movement; and 2. the absence of padding on the straps near the shoulder area. Otherwise, this is an excellent buy.

I was looking for a heavy duty but beautiful rugged looking backpack that would hold my laptop, iPad, phones, lunch, and the usual contents of my purse to take to work. I ordinarily buy everything in black, but this was too hard to resist. The quality of the leather is wonderful. Heavy duty, with plenty of pockets for storage, and it just LOOKS great. I originally balked at the price, but now that I have it, I can see that I have purchased an extremely high quality product that I will be using for years to come! Really love it!

I can not overstate how much I love this bag that I received. I usually keep my expectations low when I order things online, but on this rare occasion I was pretty hyped to receive this bag. My expectations were exceeded 10-fold. This bag is so beautifully crafted with such quality materials that I felt like I underpaid for it. Easily, this is one of the top 5 purchases I have ever made. I do not make these statements lightly. I will forever recommend Polare products and they have gained a customer for life. Keep doing what you are doing, because it is 100% working! I hope you all are proud to work for this company. This product is top notch for a considerabley reasonable price. Please do yourself a favor. If you are on the fence about this product, take the chance. As someone who is very picky about these type of things, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Can I please just walk into the building where I work without someone stopping me to compliment me/comment on this bag? Im writing this review after having this backpack for approximately 1 week. Here are my thoughts: -First off, for frame of reference, Im 510 215 lbs. You can see how the bag fits my frame in the attached photos. -The dark brown color is amazing and in my opinion is the color to go with. -The leather is stiff and heavy duty and will take some time to break in. -The straps are long enough to let the bag hang low (it looks great this way) or you can wear it high on the back. -The pockets on the front provide wonderful function AND outstanding visual appeal. (yes they have Velcro underneath to secure them and no, the leather straps do not slide out of their metal holders) -The inside has plenty of pockets too (Zippered Pocket, Laptop Pocket, Tablet Pocket, Business Card Pocket, Receipt Pockets, Pen & Pencil Loops, etc.) -The side pockets are perfect for a 24 oz. Hydroflask Water Bottle on one side (see photos) and a medium-sized umbrella on the other (again, see photos) -There is plenty of space inside for magazines, my eyeglass case, a rain coat, AND a light-weight Packable Down Jacket -I was caught in the rain one day and the water did not stain the leather. (I wiped my pack off once I got in the car and it was fine) Now for the compliments... -The very first day I wore it to work...a guy stopped me as I was heading in the front door of my office building and said, Thats a great back pack. - The second day I wore it...just before leaving work, I went to the restroom. I had my back pack on while standing at the urinal and a guy comes in and says, Thats an amazing backpack! It looks like something youd wear to go climbing or something. -The third day I wore it, I was standing in the elevator with 2 guys and 3 women. One of the women said, I need to get my husband one of those...its so cool. -I could go on and on about the comments Ive received. Just know this, YOU WILL GET COMMENTS! So get used to it. In summary, I looked at all sorts of backpacks prior to choosing to go with this one. If you want a traditional black backpack like every other person in the world has, then by all means go get one of those. However if youre looking for a special piece of leather kit that will turn heads, make you feel great while wearing it AND get better with time, then buy this bag. You wont regret it.

I bought this for my husband over a year ago. He has carried it back and forth to work every day for a year. It looks brand new. Great product! Update - The bag is in perfect condition leather wise. One of the inside pouches has ripped away so when you put things in it they just fall in. The bag is now 2 years old and is in such remarkable shape after every day I want to have it repaired. Any suggestions?

To start off with, the bag smells AMAZING. This bag is definitely made of real leather, and feels and looks great, and marks easily, like leather should, and I like the aged look of the marks. The reason this bag receives 4 instead of 5 stars is the leather dye. After reading several reviews about this bag bleeding onto clothing, I decided to rub a white rag across the bag the moment I unwrapped it. Sure enough, it came saturated in dark, reddish brown dye. Im not a leather worker, so I cannot tell you why this is, but it was worth checking. I am a mechanic, my car interior is black, and most of my clothes are black or dark blue, and I come home most nights covered in oil, so this will not be an issue with me, my wife however, likes to wear bright clothing, so she will be unable to use my bag. I recommended curing the bag with Leather Honey to keep it protected, cause investing this much money in a bag would be ridiculous if you didnt take care of it. That being said, I look forward to putting some hard hours on this thing and seeing how long it holds up. On another note, the straps are leather and the cliché bag strap material, and use the strap through loop method (similar to military duffel bags, except without the teeth to held the straps in place) and are NOT padded. If you have weak shoulders, wear a thick jacket, or pack light, cause over time this could wear on you, and the straps may loosen. I would recommend this bag to others, as long as they dont wear light colored clothes a lot. As to the reviews about the zipper, it does appear rather small toothed for a leather bag, but that doesnt bother me, and there is a leather working shop near me I can use to upgrade the zippers. I have not had it long enough to see how well it holds up, but I will post a new review if it does not.

This bag is really authentic looking and can attest that it is genuine leather. You can instantly smell the fresh leather when you open the package. It is very convenient for daily use as well as travel. The multiple pockets on the outside makes it comfortable to store things easily, and with the hidden pockets on the inside your important belongings are safe. I must say that the zipper is a bit stiff and may be difficult to open and close as the leather bag is stiff. As Ive been using it more often, the leather has definitely softened a bit and the zipper is not as stiff. With more wear it will eventually have that rugged worn out look. I definitely recommend this bag. It is stylish, comfortable and compact. Recommend it!
