> 3 dayThese pens work great for embossing. I like the option of black ink and clear. The clear can of course be hard to see but it prevents any black leftover spots which I like. I am not sure how long the pens will last as far as use since they are small but overall these work great to use with embossing powders!

> 3 dayThe black one is amazing. Works perfectly. The white one is hard-to-see and seems very dry. I probably shouldve sent back, but I use the black one...so...

> 3 dayInitially did not like it as one of the pens were broke. I ended up returning it but manufacturer was nice enough to let me keep it and gave me a new set. Loving the quality so far. Tips are nice and fine for the detailed embossing you may need these for. They stay moist for a good amount of time and not dry out right away before you can even put the embossing powder on. I used them both on tiles and paper and they worked wonderfully. Definitely would get them again. Mostly the black, not so much the white.

> 3 dayI have nothing to compare this to because it is my first time doing foil embossing but wow! This seems like a great pen for any beginner, but as high quality as it is, great for very experienced people as well. The black pen is definitely not good to use with a light colored embossing powder, so I was so happy I had the two pack that included the clear as well. I have done the “Mrs” on about 20 invitations so far and the pen doesn’t seem anywhere close to drying out which it great! Such a great price for how long it goes on my opinion. Really takes a project (like an invite) to the next level!

Greater than one weekFor the most part, they work great! However, Im having problems with the clear pen not being inky enough to really catch all the powder. Im not sure if its just a matter of my surface still having too much static despite the use of my static pouch, but the black ink works a lot better for me.

> 3 dayThese pens are great for embossing detailed images, drawing & embossing your own designs or handwriting, and fixing any knicks or scratches in a larger embossed piece (craft tweezers anyone?). I purchased these pens when I first started dabbling in papercrafts about 8-9 months ago. Back then, I didnt realize that I needed an anti-static powder tool of some kind, so all of my attempts using these were a mess. A few days ago, I was clearing out some of my craft storage boxes and thought about tossing these pens, but they were still brand new & were not dry at all. I had a few panels of boring experiments that were sitting around, so I thought Ive give these pens another shot & see if I can jazz up some of those panels. This time, I loved results. Im attaching a picture of the first piece that I tried the pen on. Its a watercolored & dry-embossed henna design that was dull dull dull. After using the clear version of this pen to highlight a portion of the raised design & adding a bit of embossing powder to it, the piece was interesting enough to mount on a card - at least I thought it was! :) I did notice that the ink in these pens dry a little more quickly than the ink pad seems to - possibly because the ink that you are laying down with the pen is a much thinner & finer layer. Youll have to stop and heat emboss in sections and powder again before you do another section, if you are doing more than a few words of text. The image that I included was done in 8-10 sections. I think the results can definitely be worth the effort. Ive since gone to town with these pens, embossing all kinds of details (by the way, using this pen on the highlights of your Altenew flowers instead of using an embossing inkpad results in a crisper clearer image), and the pens have still not run dry, so they seem to last quite a while. Ive tried this technique using a glue pen in the past (e.g., Quickie Glue Roller Pen, Zig Squeeze & Roll, etc.), and they all work pretty well if Im just wanting to do a small dot or a doodle or something; however, they were all a bit inconsistent and skipped or blobbed if I tried to draw a consistent line or wanted a consistent thickness. Since this embossing pen is a marker, I get a smoother and more consistent finish. Also, it is much easier to fix mistakes or tweezer marks on a large embossed image with this pen than with an embossing ink pad.

> 3 dayI thought Id love these pens, and that theyd be so helpful when embossing if I miss a spot, but sadly, I didnt open them until the return period was over, and one of the markers was dry...I dont mean kind of dry, I mean DRY. I hate giving bad reviews, but these are not a great product, if others come the way mine did. But then I also tried Rangers embossing ink pad and it was also a disappointment. Maybe they should stay out of the embossing arena until theyve mastered the products.

> 3 dayI will say the product is inexpensive and easy to use. However, even after following all the rules of embossing ie. tapping off excess, using a pointed tip and firmly, brushing off the excess from the item youre embossing and knowing that a single particle of loose power will melt into a mini blob once embossed, the finish was anything but clean. The finish was either barely there or sloppy. (Note the pic.) I found the tips to dry out quickly and I am returning. However, per Amazon I can only exchange for the exact item or one that is not identical. So I cannot even try a different product unless I just return and completely order a different brand. I just want a brand that works. I’m not sure who I’m more frustrated at: the product or Amazons exchange policy. I opted to hope that the item I received was defective and replace it with a new one. I’ll keep you posted.
