> 3 dayThis was my first time using Ranger Inkssentials Embossing Pens and I am very impressed. I used the pens to scrapbook and then later to make greeting cards. The embossing powder that I used over the top stuck flawlessly, thanks to these pens! The tip of the pens were precise, and allowed my handwriting to be neat and flowing. The two colors (black and silver) are versatile for being seen on different backgrounds. These pens are great for adding a personal touch to crafts, letters or projects. I highly recommend them!

> 3 dayJust got these last week to enhance scrapbooks. I used the clear pen on a black scrapbook folder then sprinkled white craft powder atop it. When the rest of the embossing powder was removed it left a perfect image of what Id written on the dark paper on the first try. The ink takes time to dry, which is what I needed, so I didnt have to rush. I used the black pen to date and title pages in the book, then to highlight a glossy magazine for work. The ink took well on both surfaces, with a thick stroke and clear edging. The clear pen enhanced my scrapbook title page, while the black pen stood out sharply on a glossy and normal paper without smudging. One other plus: the black ink did not bleed through the other side.

> 3 dayThis is the only type of embossing pen I have used, but I really like it - its easy to use for hand-lettering projects.

> 3 dayI love testing the two colors with my various embossing powders. Both work quite well and add a lovely touch to card making projects. Ive been using these pens to write the receivers name on the envelope, then embossing with a powder that coordinates with the wrapping paper. Lovely... and lots of compliments.

> 3 dayI will say the product is inexpensive and easy to use. However, even after following all the rules of embossing ie. tapping off excess, using a pointed tip and firmly, brushing off the excess from the item youre embossing and knowing that a single particle of loose power will melt into a mini blob once embossed, the finish was anything but clean. The finish was either barely there or sloppy. (Note the pic.) I found the tips to dry out quickly and I am returning. However, per Amazon I can only exchange for the exact item or one that is not identical. So I cannot even try a different product unless I just return and completely order a different brand. I just want a brand that works. I’m not sure who I’m more frustrated at: the product or Amazons exchange policy. I opted to hope that the item I received was defective and replace it with a new one. I’ll keep you posted.

> 3 dayIve only used the clear one so far (or is it white?!), but it is definitely Ranger quality! I bought these to use in my Cricut Explore Air and it fits perfectly! The ink is wet enough for long enough to get the item cut and the ink to get embossing powder on it after it comes out of the machine.

> 3 dayFor the price of the pens these are a good choice for embossing. The description says that they stay wet on paper which I have found is true sometimes but not always. The ink is perfect when using glossy paper but do not try on standard paper. They are very comfortable to write with and it comes with both black and clear pens which is useful for different outcomes when embossing.

> 3 dayThese pens were much drier than I thought they would be. I thought they were actually dried out, but I used them and they work fine! I guess not much moisture is required to get embossing powders to stick.

> 3 dayI use the clear pen a lot, the black not so much. I luv these pens though. I always have issues when embossing and with these pens I can easily fix any issues I have. Missed a spot, no problem, just use the pen to fill in the spots that didnt take the first time, reapply the powder, let your heat gun heat up and melt. No more starting over from the beginning! You can also write and draw with them and they work in the universal pen holder made for the scan n cut machine. The ink stays wet for a long time too. I recommend buying these pens because they are worth their weight in gold!
