> 24 hourI’ve got five of these in various machines, they are reliable and fast. From Linux to different flavors of Windows, they are quiet and boot quickly. My oldest one is 3 years, never had a problem with it. It’s a decent size for a general purpose PC.

> 24 hourI replaced some slower 5400 WD red hard drives with these in an OWC Thunderbay 4 Raid 0 Enclosure. They are fast! About 5X faster than my old drives in same enclosure!

> 24 hourGreatest thing (IMO) about using Samsung SSD drives is the data migration tool available on Samsung’s site. Assuming that (A) you have a USB-SATA cable, and (B) the computer whose hard drive you’re replacing works, then download the Data Migration tool, install it, and let it work its magic…when it’s done, everything from the old drive will be copied to the new drive, the computer will be turned off and ready for installation of the new Samsung SSD, and when you turn your machine back on, you’ll be up and running with (usually) zero issues - even brings across licensing information as it’s a true cloning software.

> 24 hourReplaced my old hard drive with this ssd. Installed Windows 10 on it and didnt have any problems except that I had to delete the partitions first. It is very fast and definitely a good upgrade.

> 24 hourIt was fast for couple months, but then it just keep slowing down! It only lasts less than one year & I barely use the computer (mostly online School stuff, not for gaming or any high intensive use). For comparison, my other old SSD last over 8 years speed didn’t even drop much, Very disappointed with Samsung.

> 24 hourHaving used Samsung SSDs for close to 4 years on my main machine, upgraded laptop and recommending many friends these as boot drives, its no doubt this was an impulse purchase decision that I will not regret to replace my 860 EVO 250GB, whose new role still has yet to be assigned to.
