I put this purchase off way too long.

Easy to install and reliable. I had ordered one in the past and decided to buy three more!

sooo, i know sata3 connections have a limit of 6gbps, but i ran performance checks after enabling RAPID mode in Samsung magician for this drive and it absolutely blows my mind. up to 8.4gbps read and 5.6gbps write speeds are INSANE. this is faster than the pcie4.0 4th gen nvme drives (7gbps read/5.3gbps write - wd black). i am completely blown away. i even have a Samsung nvme installed in the same computer and that drive is only running at 2.9gbps read, 1.6gbps write. i dont know what else to say.

Doesn’t work. Period.

Pribably the best of its kind. Kind of overkill for the PS4 pro, but mostly definitely speeds up loading things considerably on my games. Im not a fan boy. I like WD in general

I bought two of the 4 TB models. Both are experiencing increasing random corruption of files. A quick google search shows this is a very common problem. And worse, it appears several other models are having failures too.

Happy with my purchase. The Samsung migration software ran really well. Operating system WIN 10 and everything was copied over from the HDD to this drive. Installed in my Dell AIO3475 and certainly runs mmmmuuuucchhh better. very pleased. Just what I wanted.
