The packaging of this product was impressive and the drive felt very well built. I ended up getting two additional drives and will use this drive whenever possible.

6X faster than my old Samsung 850 EVO. Had to jump through a few hoops getting this to work on my olderX99 Motherboard but once up and running it is working at rated speeds.

Managed to install in my Lenovo Legion 5 laptop. Used the 2nd bay slot, and used the free samsung software to clone the original C boot drive. Then replaced this new Samsung 970 into the boot drive slot. I can feel it is faster than the original 512 NVme drive that shipped with the laptop. Overall pleased.

Easy install into my Lenovo P17. Averages 3100MBps read, 3000MBps write. Cant ask for much more.

I bought this so my son could add it to his PS5. This is Gen 3, and the console rejected it. As it happens, in my desktop I had a 1 TB 980 that was getting full. So I swapped it for this slower but bigger one, which will work perfectly well for my needs. What it really means is its time for me to start cleaning house. I will get an adapter and put the 980 in an SSD slot, because thats easier than deciding what data to throw out.
