> 3 daySo I had to replace a Hari-Kari Samsung 10.1 inch tablet with a 10.5 inch tablet. Pay attention to backlighting options aside gets kind of yellow if you dont pay attention. Create a Samsung ID so you can download your previous tablets games and programs. Kirk out!

> 3 dayI bought it to replace my existing Galaxy tablet which is much older. The new one has a better battery and much more memory than my old one. The graphics are sharper and the case was surprisingly less expensive than my old one. Just $16. I went with Galaxy Tab 8A for a reason. My successful history with them. I wouldnt have bought it otherwise.

> 3 dayThese tablets are defective tablets, and a rip off of your money, I bought tablet and shipped it to my country this month(October 2022), I notified Amazon that it’s defective and they refuse to give me an international shipping label to return Item. So if I have to ship it from my country it’s an additional $100.00US that I have to incur because they selling defective tablets and passing it off as new (no fault of mines)……..Very pissed off with the poor customer service…..Video attached showing tablet not working.

01-01-2025Given that tablets arent supported through too many OS upgrades, to me it makes sense to buy one that balances present needs and a moderate amount of future capability against cost. The A8 (2021) with 128GB of storage has a good screen, substantial construction, plenty of memory (which will make it usable long after the OS is obsolete) and adequate performance. The Samsung interface built on top of Android is pretty good. Bloatware isnt extensive. I especially like the ability to split the screen and use 2 apps at the same time. I also like the ability to mirror the screen and sound to a smart TV or Roku. The only thing missing in my opinion is a touch sensor to unlock the device; logging in is such a drag and Androids (not Samsungs) Smart Lock is unreliable at times. Sound using the built-in speakers is pleasant. Headphone sound using the wired jack is OK but not outstanding. Cant report on Bluetooth audio. Samsung is slow to roll out Android upgrades but they eventually do appear. A great value in my opinion.

Greater than one weekThis tablet was good until the screen froze and it was inoperable. Unable to turn it on and no product support. $180 for a tablet that lasted 6 months is what I call a ripoff!! Our Amazon tablet for $80 lasted 2 years!!!
