> 3 dayI have purchased several of the Samsung portable SSDs. This is the first 2TB version that I bought. Its great. Reads and writes data quickly. I have actually purchased a second one to archive my music and photo files.

> 3 dayIt took a little while for the computer to read the drive. I thought maybe the connecting cable was defective. I kept jiggling it. Finally, it showed up on the computer. This happens quite often. Im not sure why. Im running Windows 10 on a fast computer. Anyways, if you can deal with the clunky interface, once it is recognized, transfers are very quick. Quite impressive. NIce, blue color, too. Lightweight-easy to carry in a shirt pocket. About the size of a credit card. OK, a little bigger but not much. This review is for the 500 GB version.

> 3 dayHad this for about a week now, works good. Downloaded both COD MW/Warzone and BO ColdWar on the drive, which are both massive, over 250 GB each and take quite a bit of speed to run. Runs just as smoothly as on my PC, and downloaded very smoothly. The only issue I have is, when downloading large files (bigger than 20 GB or so) the device heats up quite a bit, and slows down the downloading speeds. However, I found this is normal for any flash drive or portable SSD after doing some research. Havent had any bugs or issues other than that. Very fast, best option for the price IMO. Doesnt get much better than this!

> 3 dayThe disk worked properly for about a month, and then I encountered serious problems that resulted in the file copying process getting stuck, windows barely responding. only after I disconnected the cable did the computer start working again.

Greater than one weekI was surprised after a day of work to find my Samsung SSD 2TB external storage exuding a white wax material... I went to look it up and it seems it is a common problem as others have written about it! At a price of $318 for an external storage, I was expecting much more than this... I am very disappointed and feel like I have thrown money in the trash as I had bought two of those Samsung SSDs....
