Excellent zip drive. Only issue is there is no cover.

I am still not sure whether I used it correctly or not. Could not find good instructions on how to use this. A small box opened on the bottom right of my monitor and appeared as if everything on my computer was being transferred. That is not what I wanted. I only wanted my music and picture program saved. Sandisk instructions were from 2nd hand sites, not them. I do not use these sites as pop ups and add ons are always attached when you use them. Bought a 5 pack so I guess I will waste a couple experimenting . Aint technology great.

The deal was good but the marketing departments need to stop trying to relay capacity. !6 GB should be at least 16,000,000 bytes if were going by their Base 10 tendencies. Formatted after removing the utilities included on the drives only give 15,357,444,096 bytes. On a computer, that reads in Base2, the drive is equivalent to 14.3 GB in capacity. I expect at least 16,000,000,000 bytes of storage from the Base10 count and am actually 600+ MB short. Keep in mind that youre only getting 14.3 GB of storage and some small in size USB 3.0 flash drives and you wont be disappointed. Call the capacity as it is and let the consumer decide what product theyre getting to meet their needs.

I will never buy these drives again. I get errors simply trying to copy files to the drives. I never use the Sandisk software, its a waste of space. Ive formatted the drives to see if that helped and it doesnt. From now on ill stick with the cheap 3.0 drives that work.

This is the 3rd time I have purchased these drives. They work well and are reasonably priced.

I buy a lot of thumb drives for my customers. Ive been doing this exact model for a while now, so it was nice to find a bulk pack that actually has a little bit of a discount on it, instead of just being the quantity times the price. As a bonus, youll get two lanyards as well. EDIT: The lanyards worked. I buy directly from Everything But Stromboli now. I dont get two day shipping, but Im saving 5 to 10%.

I have tried every format and clutter size combo you can thinks of. The write speed STARTS fast but then slows down 1 or 2 MBytes/s. Not matter what format or cluster size (from 4K to 128K) I tried the results are exactly the same. I have an OLD USB 2.1 Sansdisk that is literally 12x faster in write speed. Next to literally ANYTHING ADATA makes this is the worst purchase Ive made this year. Upon doing some research I found out that the slow speed is due to way too small write cache, which is why it tanks the after after the first 100MBs or so. Edit 10/24/2020 I had one get so hot it burned my fingers when I went to yank it out of the computer. It actually started smoking. What hot garbage!

Crystal Disk Mark used to check performance. Read Performance acceptable ( not best in class usb 3.1) @ 130 mb/s Write performance dismal at sub 10 mb/s. I had expected double or triple this speed (20-30mb/s)
