> 3 dayI purchased these a while back, honestly a flash drive should be a flash drive. It works like any normal flash drive, however this thing heats up something horrible. I have actually already replaced all of these that I purchases. would never buy this type again.

> 3 dayPrice is great. Theyre pretty slow, like most generic USB drives. But I would buy them again for the price/benefit I get out of the.

> 3 dayNot the fastest drive, and they do get a bit warm to the touch on large file transfers. Drives come formatted with a FAT partition, remember to format the drive in NTFS format if youre copying a large image (e.g. a DVD ISO).

> 3 dayThese drives are EXCELLENT and they are made by THE TOP BRAND!!!! I NEVER EVER buy anything other than SanDisk!!! I LOVE THIS BRAND and i will NEVER EVER buy any other brand!! 1. BEWARE of FAKE brands that try to use names that sound similar to SanDisk like something S-Disk or whatever ... they are also being sold here on Amazon. KNOW THE FAKES from the REAL DEAL. 2. One problem i have with these is that they do not work on my new Sabrent 10-port 60W USB 3.x hub. This may be because either the drives are newer or older than the hub is. Incompatible after a while because 1 of these drives DID work 1 time on that same hub. Then after a while of using it, the drive would no longer register on the USB bus and i had to plug it directly into my machine ports instead of the hub. THIS IS OKAY, it is just not perfect. It may be the fault of my hub (a Sabrent brand which i also love) and i am not really too upset at this. IT MAY ALSO be bad USB 3.0 drivers since my motherboard is now 10 years old. THIS IS ALSO OKAY. Just try to use these drives on a newer 3.1 port bus and you should be totally fine. THEIR PERFORMANCE on file copies is VERY FAST on a true USB 3.x port!!! I LOVE THEM!! 3. Another bad caveat is they come in the packages as already formatted in vFAT 2.0 format. THIS IS VERY BAD. YOU WILL want to re-format them before use, using ExFAT format instead (or if you are a Linux or Mac fan, some other good format like XFS, HPFS, ext4, or likewise). I WOULD NEVER FORMAT these or any key drive as NTFS because then you just end up with weird security and ownership/permission issues. ExFAT format is best for Windows users because it allows you to use the ENTIRE FORMATTED size of the drive. WHATEVER SanDisk was thinking when they shipped these out already formatted with VFAT was KINDA STUPID. THAT IS THE ONLY FLAW with these drives! REFORMAT THEM before you use them, with ExFAT format, and you will be one very happy customer!!!

> 3 dayI buy a lot of thumb drives for my customers. Ive been doing this exact model for a while now, so it was nice to find a bulk pack that actually has a little bit of a discount on it, instead of just being the quantity times the price. As a bonus, youll get two lanyards as well. EDIT: The lanyards worked. I buy directly from Everything But Stromboli now. I dont get two day shipping, but Im saving 5 to 10%.

> 3 dayI am still not sure whether I used it correctly or not. Could not find good instructions on how to use this. A small box opened on the bottom right of my monitor and appeared as if everything on my computer was being transferred. That is not what I wanted. I only wanted my music and picture program saved. Sandisk instructions were from 2nd hand sites, not them. I do not use these sites as pop ups and add ons are always attached when you use them. Bought a 5 pack so I guess I will waste a couple experimenting . Aint technology great.
