I will never buy these drives again. I get errors simply trying to copy files to the drives. I never use the Sandisk software, its a waste of space. Ive formatted the drives to see if that helped and it doesnt. From now on ill stick with the cheap 3.0 drives that work.

Works as advertised. Fast and easy. I have them all on a key ring that I use for IT work. Got multiboot linux distros and windows installers etc on them.

Hey, this is Windows 10 baby! I use the heck out of my rescue drive! ;-) And with the other four in the pack, Ive been taking the tour... Ubuntu, Mint, Manjaro, PoP... sound familiar? So, heavily used, and performing very well to this point. Ill get back to this review should anything change.

I normally love SanDisk products, but... If youre not in a big hurry or are just writing something once only, these are probably fine for you. If you are writing and rewriting large amounts of small files these are too slow to be efficient. I bought 2 five packs of these I opened the first, found they were no where near USB3.0 spec speeds (or even 2.0 for that matter) and sent the other back. Consider your need. If you are putting some pictures or songs on these and can leave it copying while you do other things and then just use the drive with what you stored on it, These might work for you. If you are using these in business, look for something else. 5 drives came with only 2 lanyards, ???

I have tried every format and clutter size combo you can thinks of. The write speed STARTS fast but then slows down 1 or 2 MBytes/s. Not matter what format or cluster size (from 4K to 128K) I tried the results are exactly the same. I have an OLD USB 2.1 Sansdisk that is literally 12x faster in write speed. Next to literally ANYTHING ADATA makes this is the worst purchase Ive made this year. Upon doing some research I found out that the slow speed is due to way too small write cache, which is why it tanks the after after the first 100MBs or so. Edit 10/24/2020 I had one get so hot it burned my fingers when I went to yank it out of the computer. It actually started smoking. What hot garbage!

I buy a lot of thumb drives for my customers. Ive been doing this exact model for a while now, so it was nice to find a bulk pack that actually has a little bit of a discount on it, instead of just being the quantity times the price. As a bonus, youll get two lanyards as well. EDIT: The lanyards worked. I buy directly from Everything But Stromboli now. I dont get two day shipping, but Im saving 5 to 10%.

nothing fancy but they do the job. If you want to build your recovery discs or anything like that, is worth it to have a number of these are around.
