A must for any aquarium. I have been using this for years. I have tried others but always come back to this because it just works better. A little goes a very long way. Just don’t use too much because it can deplete oxygen. Only use double dosing in an emergency.

I love prime i have extremely high nitrates straight out of my tap water so I treat my water with this stuff and I dont have any problems with my fish. My only qualm is the packaging. The small bottle only gives you drop measurements(2 drops for 1gallon) where as the big one has tsp/capful measurements. I have a 55 gallon and 110 drops can be kind of annoying. I got the small bottle because I wanted to test it out before committing. Still like the product though.

I love this product to use for any animal that can’t have chlorine, heavy metals, etc. it takes care of them all.

Im a fan of Seachem products anyways, but this really is excellent at making your water safe for your fish. It may seem a lot more $$ than some of the other brands, but its more concentrate so you actually use much much less of it. 1 capful treats 50 gallons, whereas most pet store brands 1 capful only treats 10 gallons. The only thing to keep in mind is that it that prime converts ammonia from free ammonia (the type harmful to your fish) into ionized ammonia which is non toxic - the problem being is that most home test kits will still give you a reading of ammonia because of this. Dont think its not doing its job!

Easy to use. Simple for water changes and keeps everything balanced in the water.

I have been using this product for years. Its really great. No problems. Very easy. What I like most about this product is that you can double the dosage and it will not harm the fish or water. For someone who guestimates measurements, this is great!
