my tap water is so horrible, I wouldnt drink it if I didnt have to spend money and leave the house to buy water that wont slowly kill me.

I recommend this product. I have been keeping goldfishes for over 2 years now and finding the right tap water conditioner had always been a headache for me. I have tried most of the popular products on the market and they have always given me either mixed results or no results at all. Too often, Ive had the fish die on me after a water change. However, when someone recommended the Prime water conditioner to me during a visit to the pet store, my problem was solved. I have used this product for a few years now and never since had any more fish die after a water change. I sincerely believe this is the most effective all-in-one solution on the market and for regular fish keeping, this is the only water conditioner one really needs

What can I say...its Seachem, a must have for all fish parents. In my 17+ years of fish keeping Ive had very few water issues - maybe 2 that I can remember, but I still keep Prime around just in case. I use a couple drops after a water change and when I add a new fish, as a precaution.

Seachem’s Prime is the only water conditioner I will use in my freshwater tank. I can’t purchase this locally, so I’ve tried other conditioners from the local big box supermarket and pet store, but they require such a large dose that they are not economical, and my tank inhabitants aren’t as healthy when I use other brands. Not only does Prime dechlorinate, but it also detoxifies your water and promotes slime coat. When I use other brands of water conditioner, my fish are stressed after a water change, but not with Prime. It doesn’t take much to treat my 29-gallon tank, but it’s not a problem if I use more than I need. My fish, Amano shrimp, and assassin snails are active and healthy. I add it directly to my tank when I am refilling after a partial water change. A bottle lasts a long time. But be warned – this stuff stinks! You won’t smell it once it’s in your tank, but you’ll want to immediately wash your hands after using.

Love using this with for my aquarium. I have a freshwater aquarium, so I am not sure how well it works for saltwater. Hopefully, I will have my saltwater aquarium set up by the end of the year. I do recommend this for freshwater aquariums.
