In the description it states that it will work on PS5. It will not and I can not return it.

Eine USB-Festplatte fürs Gaming? Ich denke, das ergibt nicht viel Sinn, denn da kann man heutzutage mit den internen NVMe-SSDs moderner PCs eine um ein Vielfaches bessere Performance erzielen. Ja, diese externe Festplatte ist tatsächlich noch eine mechanische, keine SSD!

As I write this, this drive and a regular 2TB Seagate are exactly the same price. I would look around a bit, because as far as I can tell, the only thing different about this is the little Playstation logo. I tested this and got read speeds (around 37 MB/s read and 32 write (I used a computer to test this, I have no idea how to do so on the Playstation). In theory USB 3.0 should give about 640MB/s (although I have found practically that they top out around 120 MB/s). It is possible that this is due to how it is configured for the Playstation

Had this since April 2021 for my ps5 and it stopped working. Cant reformat it cause my computer doesnt recognize that its plugged in .ive tried everything nothing worked so i threw it away
